26 May 2009 - Mummy was on leave

Mummy had applied for a day off on this Tuesday. She had nothing to do but just to accompany Chee Chee. On this morning, we woke up late together and had our breakfast at home with daddy. As Chee Chee saw mummy was not carrying her office bag, she knew that mummy is going to play with her on this day, and she was so excited and keep on shouting "kai kai, kai kai".

At 10am, we went to Poh Poh's house and Chee Chee had her breakfast there. After her breakfast, it is still early to have a nap, therefore, mummy decided to bring Chee Chee to Island Plaza to buy some new shoes. Most of Chee Chee's shoes are quite tight now. Her legs size are growing very fast, so we gotta buy some new and bigger shoes. Both of us, mummy and Chee Chee went to Island Plaza together. Poh Poh was not joining us as she needed to make more rice dumplings. Both of us having a great sweet time shopping in Metrojaya and there was not much people there as it was a working day. After some ladies and kids stuffs shopping, we went to the mini play ground in Island Plaza. Chee Chee was the only kid playing there and it was really quiet there.

After shopping at Island Plaza, when we were heading home, we had passed by Mcdonalds at the Sunrise Tower. Chee Chee was excited to see the big Mcdonald logo, therefore, mummy decided to drop by and have a short fun playing at the Mcdonald's playground. It is good to go to those playground on weekdays as there is so crowded. Sometimes, mummy worries that virus are easily spreaded at the playground from kids to kids, so it is better to go when there is not much people there. As Chee Chee is well-trained from the Tumbletots class, she is able to climb the steps by herself steadily. Mummy is very confident and proud to see Chee Chee can protect herself and enjoying the playgrounf very much. It was a great day for Chee Chee to "pat toh" with mummy.

24 May 2009 - Happening Sunday

There iss nothing much to update on Saturday's activity as it is about the same every week. So mummy decided only update those special activities only.

On this Sunday, it was a happening Sunday for Chee Chee. We had went to a lot of new places on this day. Firstly, as usual, we definitely would not skip our Muzikgarten lesson in the morning. On this day, one of Chee Chee's classmate (Chloe) was absent as she was sick. So, only Chee Chee and Zhen Xian attended the class. However, Chee Chee still enjoyed the half an hour lesson very much.

After the Muzikgarten, we were heading to Gurney to meet everyone. Who is the everyone? Huh long list, everyone includes grandpa, grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, Grace, San Yi Yi, San Yi Chang, Si Yi Yi, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu. On this day, we decided to go to a new restaurant in Gurney Plaza called "Ko Fu Loft". It is a new Chinese dim sum and hongkie styled restaurant. Previously, it was "Food Loof" but was close down and now had turned to a Chinese restaurant. All of us enjoyed the time gathered together and pleasure moment. The food there is quite delicious and the environment and decoration is quite nice. It was a nice place. The only complaint about the restaurant is that the air-cond is not working well on this morning.

After the great breakfast, we had a short shopping at Gurney Plaza. It has been long long time never shop with Gong Gong already. After that, we went back to Poh Poh's house together.

At Poh Poh's house, Chee Chee was having a fun time playing with all Yi Yis. Siao Yi Yi and Si Yi Yi had bought 4 little rabbits for Chee Chee to take care. They are very cute and sweet. Chee Chee loves them very much. The rabbits are very active and keep eating a lot of carrots when Chee Chee feeded them. It is really fun to play with the rabbits.

Besides playing with rabbits, Chee Chee was also helping Poh Poh to make meat steamed rice dumplings (bak chang). As the festival is coming soon, Poh Poh needs to make a lot of rice dumplings for celebration. On this day, she was busy doing and distributing the ready rice dumplings to friends and relatives. Poh Poh's bak chang is the best we ever have. It is very very delicious. The photos here show that Chee Chee was eating bak chang, but actually is just pretended for photo shooting purpose, she is still too small for bak chang. It is very bad for her digestion system.

After playing with everybody and rabbits, Chee Chee was exhausted and tired. It was about her lunch and afternoon nap time. So, we have to say goodbye to all Yi Yis, Poh Poh, Jiu Jiu and Yi Chang. San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang also need to go back as they were taking 4pm coach back to KL on this day. Chee Chee went back and took her lunch and have a sweet deep nap the whole afternoon.

On this night, grandma proposed a new place for dinner. It is a HaiNan Restaurant near Penang Jetty. Chee Chee and Grace were wearing a same dress bought by grandma. It is very sweet and lovely. The 2 little princesses are so cute, wearing a twin dress and they just look lovely. Before the food was served, we had a great walk outdoor and had taken a lot of nice photos. When Chee Chee looked at the sea, she keeps calling "Nemo! Nemo!", haha, she was expecting to see Nemo comes out from the sea.

After a short walk, we went back to our seats and enjoyed the delicious Hai Nan food. The food is very delicious but there is no air-cond there. It was very stuffy and humit in the restaurant, all of us was sweating and Grace was crying. All of us was very tension and Suk Suk and Sen Sen were trying to cool Grace down. We finished our meal very fast and packed back home very soon. It is a place with good food but with bad air flow. So, it is not a good place for kids.

17 May 2009 - Sunday

Although mummy and Chee Chee slept a bit late on Saturday night as we had attended a wedding dinner, but we were still able to wake up early on Sunday morning for our Muzikgarten class with teacher Emiline. This is our favourite music class. Chee Chee woke up very early and got herself dressed nicely by 9am. We departed for the lesson at 9am and reached there on time. As usual, we met baby Zhen Sian and Chloe there. During the class, Chee Chee was enjoying herself and paying attention to teacher. She was able to do all the steps as instructed by teacher. Daddy and mummy are really proud of you, baby Chee Chee.

After the class, we decided to go to New World Park for breakfast at Old Town reastaurant. It was a nice place for breakfast and we shall bring Grace, Suk Suk and Sen Sen to here when they come back from Jakarta. Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace had went back to Jakarta for nearly 3 weeks already, Chee Chee misses you all so much....

We had ordered a lot of food, such as koay teow soup, bread toost, jawa noodles and drinks. Chee Chee loves the bread very much. Of course, Chee Chee prefered the noodles more, but it is not so good to eat too much of noodles at her age. Chee Chee, bread is better for you. After the breakfast, we had a walk in New World Park. We went to the "Niceday" shop to see some toys.

After the lovely breakfast, Chee Chee had a good rest in the afternoon. She woke up at 5pm. It was just a good time for library. Daddy and mummy decided to bring Chee Chee to library to borrow some story books. Chee Chee loves to go to library as there were so many "jie jie" and little friends there. She was busy making friends and meeting new people in the library rather than reading. Chee Chee is an active and friendly kid, she loves to make friends with others. But sometimes, she was rejected by some shy friends who feels that she is over friendly.

At night, grandma suggested to go to the Penang Time Square for dinner. This is a new place for all of us. None of us has come here before. Most of the shoplots here are yet to be opened except for some restaurant. We had decided to had our dinner at a restaurant called "Haven Delights". They offered ala-carte and buffet style menu and we decided to have buffet on this night. It is more towards Japanese menu which mixed with some chinese and also local foods. The food is nice, but i think if we would come again next time, we will go for the ala-carte as we can't really eat much.

After the dinner, we just walked aroud the open-air area to digest our food. Chee Chee was enjoying herself walking around and looking at the water fountain there. This place is quite nice unfortunately most of the shops are yet to open and there is nothing much to see there.
