29 July 2008 - Chee Chee is 9 months old

Today is Chee Chee's 9th months old birthday. Of course, we did not celebrate on this 9th month birthday, but mummy is very touched that Chee Chee is growing well and happy. What can she does now??? Nothing much. She cannot walk yet, cannot call mummy and cannot stand yet, but she is learning to crawl, which she can crawl now but backwards and not forwards. Besides crawling, she knows how to move her fingers, she can claps her hands, she can mumble a lot and she can wave goodbye as well but occasionally. One more inportant change for Chee Chee is she has 2 little front teeths now, which you can see it very clearly in the photo above.

Chee Chee is a big girl now. She is very active and loves to smile. Besides smiling, she also loves to give everyone a big hug. Chee Chee, you are mummy's good girl and mummy hopes that you are growing healthy and happily ever after.

26 July 2008 - Another babies gathering

On this day, mummy brought Chee Chee out for another babies gathering at Manila Place in Gurney Plaza. After having lunch, Chee Chee was dressed nicely and got ready to go for the gathering with mummy. It was our first time that Chee Chee went out with mummy only. Chee Chee was seated in the car seat while mummy was driving. She was very good girl and did not disturb mummy at all through out the whole journey.

We reached Manila Place by 12noon. All the aunties and uncles were in the restaurant having their lunch. They are mummy's colleagues. Besides aunties and uncles, there were some babies as well, such as Joshua, Xue Khai, Nicholas and auntie Monica's 3 daugthers. All of us were having fun together and it was a great pleasure to know all of them.

It was a sweet and warm gathering by meeting so many baby friends. We had taken lots of nice photos together by auntie Soo Sun. A big thank you to auntie Soo Sun for her great efforts to take so much photos. Although the photos turn up to be not very clear but it was really touched and all of us appreciated that very much. Auntie Soo Sun, thank you so much and wish you become an expert baby photographer one day!!!

After spending 3 hours at Manila Place, Chee Chee was tired and would like to make a move. We left Gurney Plaza at 3pm and heading back home. After a short break and refreshment, Chee Chee went to MuzikGarten class at 4pm.

It was a busy day for Chee Chee. At night, Chee Chee did not go out anymore but stayng at home playing her new toy piano bought by mummy. She stayedat home with Kakak Kathya and she slept early on this night.

20 July 2008 - Sunday

Time flies, it was another lovely Sunday morning. As usual, all of us went to Island Plaza for dim sum breakfast, but one thing different on this day was we were having breakfast with Ah Bee uncle and his family. There were so many people on this day and we occupied 2 tables in the restaurant. Everyone of us was enjoying the dim sum breakfast and Chee Chee had the first try on char siew poh as well. If you don't believe me, please refer to the video clip at the right hand side.

After the breakfast, we went to Poh Poh's house to take away Chee Chee's porridge. We spent our whole afternoon playing at home. There is nothing special happened on this day, but Chee Chee had a great time enjoying herself and playing with mummy at home. We had taken lots of photos in our room.

At night, we all went to Dome at Gurney Plaza for dinner. As it was a raining night, Chee Chee was wearing long sleeves and long pants in the restaurant. We did not do much shopping on this night. We went back home after our delicious dinner.

18 July 2008 - Babies Gathering

On this day, mummy and daddy came back from work early. All of us were dressed nicely and went out at 7pm for dinner. We went to Gurney Plaza and had our dinner at Chillis Restaurant. This was our first time went out for dinner together without grandfather and grandmother.

After dinner, we went to Coffee Bean to meet auntie Celine and her family. It was Chee Chee's second time to meet Joshua. Joshua came back to Penang for holidays. Besides meeting Joshua, we also met other new baby friends. All of us had fun together and we took a lot of photos. Chee Chee was very excited to meet so many new baby friends. We met auntie Xue Yun's son and auntie Ean Hoon's daugther. It was fun to have such gathering with mummy's old friends and their babies.

After an hour in Coffee Bean, auntie Hooi Hooi, auntie Magdalene and uncle Kim Chuan came to join us as well. It was first time we met uncle Kim Chuan's son. He is a handsome big boy. We spend 2 hours at Coffee Bean meeting all new friends. It was a fun day for Chee Chee.

13 July 2008 - Sunday

As usual, Sunday morning, grandfather and grandmother are going to Island Plaza for dim sum breakfast with Gong Gong and Poh Poh. On this weekend, we joined them for breakfast as well. It was a lovely morning with a lot of yummy dim sum.

After the dim sum breakfast, we went back to have a rest. Chee Chee took asleep and woke up at 2pm. We went to Poh Poh's house at 2pm as 5th Uncle was at Poh Poh's house. Chee Chee never met Wei Qing before, so it was her first time to meet her auntie, Wei Qing. Yes, she is Chee Chee's auntie and not cousin, although she is younger than Chee Chee. Wei Qing is mummy's cousin. She is cute and adorable. We had took some photos together.

We spend our whole afternoon at Poh Poh's house playing with Wei Qing. When we compared Chee Chee and Wei Qing, then only I realsied that Chee Chee no longer is a baby already, she is a big girl, mummy's big girl.

8 July 2008 - Daddy's birthday

8 July 2008 was daddy's birthday. Of course, all of us celebrated his birthday with him on this special day. As mummy and daddy need to work on this day, we planned to have dinner together at Tao Japanese buffet at e-Gate.

Chee Chee was dressed nicely and ready to go for dinner on that night after mummy and daddy came back from work. We went to e-Gate at 7pm. Tao Restaurant was fully booked and very crowded, therefore, we decided to change the venue to Miss Saigon for dinner. Grandfather and grandmother also joined us for dinner. We had a very delicious dinner and memorable time together. Happy Birthday to my dearest Daddy !!! Chee Chee loves you always.....

6 July 2008 - Sunday

Happy Birthday to Chee Chee's loving daddy..... Today is daddy's chinese Lunar calendar's birthday. We had a very nice breakfast together at home and also at dim sum restaurant. Gong gong, poh poh, san yi yi, san yi chang, si yi yi, and uncle Chun Li joined us for dim sum breakfast at Island Plaza. Uncle Chun Li will be going back to Melbourne on that night. So it was sort of a farewell breakfast with him.

After the dim sum, grandpa took Chee Chee for a walk outside the restaurant. While he took the escalator, he accidentally fall down together with Chee Chee. However, he holded Chee Chee very tight and protected Chee Chee with his both arms. Chee Chee is not injured at all, but grandpa does. Grandpa feels so bad as Chee Chee cried loudly. Grandpa, please don't worry, Chee Chee is doing fine and she loves you so much !!!

After the dim sum, we went back home and had a rest. After a rest, Chee Chee and daddy were having fun playing at the dining area.

At night, we went to Queensbay Mall for dinner. Again, we had our dinner at Paddington Pancake House. It was one of our favourite restaurant in Queensbay as we can have a big space for Chee Chee's stroller there.

5 July 2008 - Saturday

It was Saturday again. As usual, mummy would go to Poh Poh's house in the Saturday morning for breakfast. This day, we went there quite late because mummy cannot wake up early. When we reached Poh Poh's house, it was about 11 o'clock already. Chee Chee was playing on her walker while mummy had her breakfast. Shan yi yi, si yi yi and poh poh were playing with Chee Chee and Chee Chee was running around with an angel stick.

During lunch time, mummy took some closer photos of Chee Chee. It looks very cute and she would like to share them here. We spend our Saturday morning and afternoon at Poh Poh's house until 2:30pm. We went back and had a rest. At 4pm, we attended the MuzikGarten and there was a new girl joined the class. Her name is Chloe.

At night, Chee Chee went to Gurney with grandpa and grandma only because mummy and daddy had their dinner with friends.
