26 December 2008 - Wedding eve

These few days, all of us were very busy and excited for San Yi Yi's big day. This day was the wedding eve for San Yi Yi's wedding. There were still many things need to be prepared and arranged. Early in the morning, mummy woke up early and went to market with Poh Poh. We had bought a lot of things for breakfast. Besides, Poh Poh had cooked a lot of delicious food for praying purpose. San Yi Yi woke up early and prayed. After the praying ceremony, all of us sit together to had our breakfast.

In the afternoon, all of us went to Queensbay mall and did some last minute shopping for the wedding event. After the shopping, we went back home to help Poh Poh to prepare for the night praying ceremony which was "Bai Ti Gong".

At night, all of us went to Poh Poh's house for dinner. After dinner, San Yi Yi was dressed nicely and preparing for the "Bai Ti Gong" ceremony. Chee Chee was send back home after the dinner. She did not stay back for the "Bai Ti Gong" ceremony as it was too late for Chee Chee. Chee Chee need to have enough rest these few days for San Yi Yi's wedding.

25 December 2008 - Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to everyone !!! ho ho ho! On this day, we woke up early in the morning and joined Yeh Yeh, Ah Ma, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, daddy and mummy for dim sum breakfast. As we normally had the music class on Sunday morning, so we had missed the dim sum breakfast for sometime. After the dim sum breakfast, we went to Metrojaya for some baby stuffs shopping.

In the afternoon, Chee Chee was resting at home. These few days, Chee Chee was not allowed to go to Poh Poh's house in the afternoon as we were encouraging her to sleep more and to be prepared for San Yi Yi's wedding. At night, Chee Chee and daddy came to Poh Poh's house as we had more and more guests from Singapore. Ta Yi Chang was back to Penang on Christmas eve, but he did not have the chance to meet up with Chee Chee. On this night, it was their first time to meet each other. Ta Jie Fu had bought Chee Chee a lovely gift from Singapore. All of us were gathered together and enjoying the delicious meals prepared by Poh Poh. After the dinner, all of us went to the garden and helping Poh Poh to decorate the garden for San Yi Yi's wedding. All of us were very excited and we were trying our best to make the garden compound look wonderful. We hope that San Yi Yi's wedding can be very nice, sweet and excellent. All of us had a great time together.

24 December 2008 - Christmas Eve

Mummy no need to go to work on this day as her company was shutting down for 2 weeks from this day onwards. On this day, mummy did not accompany Chee Chee much as she was at the hair saloon the whole day to dye her hairs. She was preparing herself for San Yi Yi's wedding on the coming weekend.

At night, mummy and daddy had to attend a Christmas Eve Party at uncle Hun Lin's house. It was Chee Chee's second time celebrating Christmas. Mummy and daddy definitely want to celebrate this day with Chee Chee together. Therefore, they decided to bring Chee Chee to the party together.

It was a house warming and Christmas - 2 in 1 party. We were late for the party as waiting for Chee Chee to eat and changed. We reached uncle Hun Lin's house at 8pm and everybody was waiting for us to start the party. Granduncle and grandaunty were there as well.

All of us had a great time together. Chee Chee was well-behaved on that night and enjoying herself. She was so happy to have the chance to celebrate this day with all aunties and uncles. While having dinner, we were watching the wedding video of uncle Hun Lin together. It was really fun.

21 December 2008 - Sunday

As usual, we would be attending the Muzikgarten class on Sunday morning. This lesson was the last lesson for year 2008 as there will be no class next week. Chee Chee will move to the toddlers class next year. My Chee Chee is a big girl now.

After the class, we went back home and Chee Chee stayed at home the whole day. Mummy went back to Poh Poh's house as Ta Yi Yi was back from Singapore. There was a big gathering with relatives at Poh Poh's house.

At night, we went to have nyonya food for dinner. The cooking was very traditional taste and all of us love it very much. It was a heavy dinner. After the dinner, we went to Gurney Plaza for some shopping.

14 Dec 2008 - Sunday

After having a happening Saturday, Chee Chee would like to have a light and easy Sunday. On this day, we went to Muzikgarten class at Lake Plaza. This is Chee Chee's favourite music lesson which we do not want to miss. At first, Zi Ning planned to go to the music lesson with us, but at very last minute, she changed her mind and prefer to follow Gong Gong and Poh Poh for Bak Kut Teh breakfast. She really is a "tam ciak" girl, hahaha....

After the class, we went to Poh Poh's house to collect Chee Chee's porridge. After that, Chee Chee went back home to rest. On this afternoon, Chee Chee spend her whole afternoon at home playing with Ah Ma, Suk Suk and Sen Sen. Mummy went to Poh Poh's house as many relatives visited Poh Poh.

At night, we decided to go to Gurney Plaza for dinner. We went to the new restaurant, Xun Xing, which just open recently at the new wing. We ordered many delicous dishes. The food is nice and the place is good too. We met daddy's friend, uncle William and his family there too.

It was a great dinner with Yeh Yeh, Ah Ma, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, daddy and mummy. After the dinner, we went for some shopping. It was a great night.

13 December 2008 - Saturday

As usual, mummy and Chee Chee would go back to Poh Poh's house to stay over on Friday night. It was a happening night as everybody was waiting for Chee Chee's arrival. But, Friday night was also the arrival night for Suk Suk (uncle Woon Cit) and Shen Shen (auntie Erfi). At 7pm, Chee Chee was dressed nicely and she followed Yeh Yeh, Ah Ma and daddy to airport to welcome Suk Suk and Shen Shen. Suk Suk and Shen Shen are coming back to Penang permanently, so we will have more time together in future and Chee Chee will have a new accompany coming soon by end of February 09, who is her cousin - baby Grace. After spending some times with Suk Suk and Shen Shen, we decided to go to Poh Poh's house at 9:30pm. Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning were waiting for Chee Chee. All of us had a great time together and Chee Chee slept at 10:30pm.

On Saturday morning, Zi Ning followed Chee Chee to the Tumbletots baby gym class. As baby Chloe was sick, so she did not joined us for the class. Zi Ning was having a great time playing with Chee Chee and other babies as well. She was participated in all the activities and tried out all the equipments in the class. It was a great fun.

After the gym class, we went back to Poh Poh's house for breakfast and had some rest. Mummy had bought Chee Chee and Zi Ning 2 cartoon balloons from office, which one is Minnie and another one is Hello Kitty. Zi Ning and Chee Chee were very happy and we took some photos with the balloons. After awhile, Chee Chee drank her milk and had a nap.

After an hour, Chee Chee woke up to have her lunch. After finished her lunch, Chee Chee joined Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng to feed Poh Poh's fish and all of them were enjoying themselves. It was a great afternoon.

As Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning did not had their lunch at home, we decided to go to Pizza Hut for a late lunch with all Yi Yis. Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning love pizza and spagetti so much. They had taken a very heavy lunch.

As all of us were eating too much, we decided to go for a swim in the evening. Daddy drove all of us to Penang Swimming Club and all of us were ready for a swim. It was Chee Chee's first time to the public swimming pool. So she was a bit scare and not comfort with the surrounding. She looked so scare and worry when mummy put her in the swimming pool. Therefore, Chee Chee just swam for 15 minutes, then was up from the water and stayed with daddy at the poolside. The rest of us swam for another hour and we went home at 6pm. It was a tiring day for Chee Chee, therefore, she did not go out at night and slept early on this night.

6,7 & 8 December 2008 - Long weekend on Haji Holiday

Hurray, this week is a long weekend. We had been waiting for so long to have more time playing with Siao Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng. But this week was a busy week for mummy and daddy as they had few wedding dinner to be attended. On Friday night, mummy and daddy were attending uncle Tau Wei and auntie Megan's wedding dinner at G Hotel, therefore, Chee Chee had to stay at home with Kakak Kathya. Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma were not at home as well as they had to attend a dinner at Genting with great grandpa and relatives. So actually, it was a busy weekend for everyone, but boring weekend for Chee Chee.

On Saturday morning, as usual, Chee Chee had to attend the baby gym class at Tumbletots. We had a great time playing with other babies at the gym class. After the class, we went back to Poh Poh's house to have breakfast with Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. All of us had a great time together for the whole morning. After lunch, mummy decided to bring Chee Chee back home to rest. As Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning never come to Chee Chee's house before, therefore, they followed us back. We bought some Mcdonald's meals and went back to Chee Chee's house for tea time. We had a great time together at Chee Chee's room. After an hour, we left Chee Chee at home and went to Aspial Bridal shop to meet Yi Yis and Poh Poh as san yi yi need to fit her wedding dress.

At night, Chee Chee stayed at home with kakak Katya because mummy and daddy had to attend uncle Alfred and auntie Jane's wedding dinner.

On Sunday morning, all of us wake up very early as we need to travel to Kuala Lumpur to meet Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma for great grandpa's birthday. This day was a memorable day for Chee Chee as it is Chee Chee's first travellling to Kuala Lumpur. Since newborn, Chee Chee never left Penang. This day was her first time out from home. All of us was very excited. We packed all the things and departed at 9am. Before we started our journey to KL, we attended our muzikgarten class at Lake Plaza first. After the class, we directly heading ourselves to KL. During the journey, Chee Chee was very well behaved and enjoying herself in car. She slept for few hours at her car seat and woke up at 1pm for her lunch in the car.

We reached KL at 2pm. Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma were waiting for us at Ritz Clarton Hotel. After checking in, we went to greet great grandpa happy birthday. As we reached KL quite late, mummy and daddy had their lunch late too. We went to Pavillion shopping mall for lunch and window shopping. It was our first time to this new shopping mall. It is a grand and nice shopping mall.

After some window shopping, we went back to hotel to rest and changed. At night, we had great grandpa birthday dinner at "Overseas Chinese Restaurant". Chee Chee was dressed nicely and we met a lot of relatives at the dinner. It was really nice for Chee Chee to meet all the grand-uncles and grand-aunties. We had taken lots of photos together. It was really a precious together with everyone. Chee Chee wishes great grandpa happy and healthy always!!!

The dinner was great and delicious. Everyone of us was enjoying the food and had a great time chatting. What a coincidence, Kenny's birthday is same as great grandpa as well. Therefore, we had 2 cakes and 2 birthday boys on this night.

After the dinner, we went back to hotel to rest. Ah Ma had booked a service apartment with 2 rooms, dining area, kitchen and etc. It was a big and nice place to stay.

The next day morning, we woke up at 8am. Chee Chee took us about 2 hours to get herself ready. We went to the hotel restaurant for the buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we went to greet great grandpa in his hotel room. We had some precious time together and had our lunch at Pavillion before we leave KL. It was a short but memorable trip. It was really wonderful and Chee Chee loves it so much.
