30 March 2010 - Tuesday

On this night, mummy came back from work earlier as she wanted to bring Chee Chee out for dinner with her friends. On this night, mummy and her friends were arranging a farewell dinner for  her friend, Auntie Sandra. We went to the Mizi Bistro Restaurant at New World Park.

It has been quite sometimes Chee Chee did not meet up with all these aunties and uncles. The last time when they met was during Chee Chee's 1 year old birthday party at KFC. Chee Chee was quite shy when we reached the restaurant. She was so shy to see so many new faces. However, after spending sometime with all the aunties and uncle, she started to feel more comfortable. All of us had a great time gathered together.

28 March 2010 - Sunday

Chee Chee had skipped 2 music lessons as mummy was not at home and daddy decided for not going to the class. However, on this Sunday, although daddy was unable to make it for the music lesson as well because he needed to accompany god-grandma for "Cheng Beng" praying, but mummy still insisted to bring Chee Chee to music school by herself.

Mummy and Chee Chee woke up early on this morning and got ourselves ready by 9am. We went to the music class together. Chee Chee was so happy to attend the music class. After the music class, daddy was not back home yet, so mummy decided to bring Chee Chee to Mcdonalds for breakfast. Both of us had a great time together and enjoyed the every single second together. Chee Chee loves the food and also the playground in Mcdonalds. It was a lovely Sunday.

27 March 2010 - Welcome home mummy!!!

Mummy was back to home sweet home on this day morning. Finally, the torturing and challenging 2 weeks were OVER!!!!! Mummy is back to Chee Chee now, hurray!!!

Chee Chee, daddy and Grandma came to the airport to pick up mummy. Grandma and Suk Suk were catching another flight on this day as well to Medan. Chee Chee was so excited and happy to see mummy and of course mummy was even more excited to see Chee Chee and daddy. It is really great to be home.

Poh Poh's birthday was on 25 March 2010 but as mummy, Gong Gong and San Yi Yi were not in Penang, so we postponed the celebration party to this day. As we planned, all the Yi Yis and mummy would cooked a dish on this night for the party. However, as mummy was not a good cook and she was jet lag and slept the whole afternoon, mummy did not cook on this day. San Yi Yi, Auntie Four and Siao Yi Yi had prepared many dishes on this night. Poh Poh was not allowed to help on the cooking, but she just wait for the dinner to be served.

Gong Gong reached home at around 6:30pm and we started the birthday celebration at 7pm when all the Yi Yis and Yi Changs were at Poh Poh's house. San Yi Yi, Auntie Four and Siao Yi Yi were very good in cooking and they had made a wonderful party with many delicious food. Of course they are unable to cook as good as Poh Poh but considered approaching the standard already.

It was a great evening and wonderful birthday celebration. Mummy was so glad to be home and spend the great moment with everyone. Happy Belated Birthday to Poh Poh and may all your wishes come true!!!!!

13 - 27 March 2010 - 2 weeks without mummy

Mummy was away from 13 - 17 March, 2 weeks for her business trip to Denver and Texas in US alone. During these 2 weeks, daddy and everyone at home were taking very good care of Chee Chee. It was a challenging period for Daddy as mummy was not around and Chee Chee's kakak ran away few weeks ago. However, we have so many people at home and so many pairs of hands offered to help daddy in taking care of Chee Chee.

On 14 March 2010, Grace celebrated her 1 year birthday at HardRock Hotel and many guests were invited to attend the party. Chee Chee had a great time there as well. Mummy was unable to attend the party but she received many nice photos from daddy and also viewed some nice photos from facebook. Besides birthday party, Poh Poh also brought Chee Chee to the "Pesta Bunga", it was the Flora Festival at Botanical Garden.

These 2 weeks past very slow and mummy was counting down every single day. Due to timezone different, mummy  needed to wake up very early in the morning to have the video conferencing with Chee Chee before going to work. It was really a hard time for all of us.

Mummy spend her first week at Colorado Springs and it was end of Winter but it was still snowing. After that, on the 2nd week, mummy fly to Texas alone. The weather at Texas was much better and warmer. It was a great experience but the torturing part was mummy missed Chee Chee like crazy during these period.

13 March 2010 - Saturday

It was a sunny Saturday morning. On this day morning, Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang  decided to bring us for brunch at Permatang Pauh. Siao Yi Chang had received a position offered by Citicorp and he would start his new job soon. So, on this day, we were going some where to celebrate for Siao Yi Chang.

We departed from Poh Poh's house at about 10am. We went to pick up Auntie Four and Uncle Four from their house. Uncle Four led us to the restaurant. It was a restaurant which famous on the fried chicks, fish, seafood and others. We had ordered a lot of food and all of us had a delicious brunch together.

Although all of us had a great brunch together, but mummy was not very happy and had a heavy heart because on this night, she had to fly to US alone for 2 weeks. It was a business trip, and mummy had to seperate with daddy and Chee Chee for 2 weeks. It would be a challenging 2 weeks for 3 of us. Mummy would took the night flight on this day and heading to Denver, US. Daddy and everyone at home would take good care of Chee Chee during the time when mummy not around.

6 March 2010 - Saturday

On this day, mummy had make an appointment with her friend, Auntie Aileen for an outdoor photo shooting for Chee Chee. We did not take any studio photos for Chee Chee when she was 2 years old. So, mummy decided to bring Chee Chee for the outdoos photo shooting. Thousand thanks to Auntie Aileen for offering the shooting session. Auntie Aileen is an expert on photo shooting, she has taken a lot of photos for many of her friends. Really glad and appreciate that Auntie Aileen was able to take some Chee Chee's photos on this day.

For the better effect, we had to reach Penang Swimming Club very early on this morning. As Chee Chee woke up too early on this morning, she was not really in the good mood. However, when we reached Penang Swimming Clud and saw the playground, Chee Chee was so excited and enjoying herself playing with the bubbles and running around the playground.

After taking some photos at the playground, we decided to move over to the beach. Mummy had brought some toys and played with Chee Chee on the sand. We also got ourselves wet by having fun in the water. We spend about an hour on the beach and it started to get hotter as the sun rised high and hot.

After a few hours on the playground and beach, we decided to go home. Auntie Aileen told us that she had taken quite a lot of photos and she needed sometime to filter and amend it. Special thanks to Auntie Aileen and her boyfriend, for their time and efforts, THANK YOU!

All of us were quite tired after the photos shooting, we went to Poh Poh's house for our breakfast and bath. Auntie Four and Siao Yi Yi had bought us a lot of food for breakfast. We had our great afternoon staying at Poh Poh's house.
