23 January 2010 - Saturday

It was a usual Saturday. There was nothing special in the day time. On this evening, all of us needed to attend a wedding dinner at G Hotel. It was Uncle Ah Hwa's wedding dinner. Uncle Ah Hwa is Granduncle Chor's son. On this night, Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh were attending this weddning dinner with us. Siao Yi Yi would be going as well.

 

We reached G hotel at around 7pm. Chee Chee was very shy when she met so many people in the ballroom. It was a very grand ball room with beautiful flowers and balloons. All the guests were waiting at the common area and enjoyed some cocktails and snacks. Chee Chee was quite excited when daddy got her some balloons. She also had some great time playing with other kids and meeting some uncles and aunties. Great Grandpa and Granduncle from Medan also attended the wedding dinner. Chee Chee took some photos with Great Grandpa as well.

It was a grand and romantic wedding dinner. All of us have a precious night together and we were glad to celebrate this wonderful moment with the bride, groom and their family. Congratulations and Happy Wedding to the bride and groom!!!

17 January 2010 - Sunday

On this Sunday evening, Grandma had suggested to have our dinner at a restaurant that we never been before. It is a Chinese restaurant at QE II. Previously, we had tried the western food, but this time, we were trying the Chinese Restaurant which was just opposite of the western restaurant.

We dressed casually but surprisingly it is a fine dining. It was quite embarrassing. We had ordered some dishes, which i think it was Si Chuan style and it was quite spicy. The food there is quite average but the environment and decoration was like an antique musuem. It had a great time together.

16 January 2010 - Saturday

On this day, San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang were back to Penang to attend San Yi Yi's best friend (Auntie Cindy and Uncle Chian Wei) wedding. Chee Chee was staying at home while mummy, daddy, San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang went to the morning wedding ceremony.

In the evening, Chee Chee woke up at around 5pm and she had some precious time with San Yi Yi at Poh Poh's garden. Kakak Ani had caught some fishes and prawns from the river behind Poh Poh's house. It was a surprise to see so much fishes and prawns in such a small river.

After taking a shower, mummy had dressed Chee Chee like a princess. Mei Mei Grace was also dressed very pretty. Both of them looks like a lovely little princess. Daddy, mummy, Suk Suk, and Sen Sen got ready by 7pm and we attended Auntie Cindy and Uncle Chian Wei' wedding dinner together at 32 Mansion.

It was a wonderful and romantic night. The restaurant was full of guests from all over the place to celebrate the great occasion. It was a big and special day for Auntie Cindy and Uncle Chian Wei. Warmest wishes to Auntie Cindy and Uncle Chian Wei!!! Happy Marriage!!!

12 January 2010 - Kakak Katya "balik kampung"

This day was a special day and a big challenge for Kakak Katya, Chee Chee, mummy and daddy. Kakak Katya is her indonesian maid who was taking care of Chee Chee since Chee Chee was one month old. On this day, Kakak Katya was "balik kampung". She would be going back to her home town on this day and her contract with us was completed on this day. We had a new kakak Vika to take care of Chee Chee but it will be a big change and challenge for Chee Chee to accept and adapt to her new kakak.

Mummy had been telling Chee Chee that Kakak Katya would be going back soon and Chee Chee seems like understand the situation and accepted the fact. She was sad but she was able to face this challenge. She hugged and kissed goodbye with Kakak Katya. After Kakak Katya left, Chee Chee looks fine and keep telling everyone that Kakak Katya was back home already. Great thanks to Kakak Katya as she was really a good person and had been taking very good care of Chee Chee.

10 January 2010 - Sunday

It was Sunday again. As usual, we had our music lesson on this Sunday morning. After the music class, daddy and mummy decided to bring Chee Chee to Prangin Mall for breakfast and do some window shopping. We went to a restaurant in Prangin Mall which was strongly recommended by mummy's friends. The food was quite nice and it is good place for meal. It is a fusion restaurant which is located on 3rd floor of Prangin Mall.

We went back home after shopping at Prangin Mall. We had our nap at home. At night, we joined Grandpa and Grandma for dinner at Gurney Plaza. After the dinner, we did some shopping together.

After our dinner, mummy brought Chee Chee to Poh Poh's house as we had a special guest at Poh Poh's house on this night. It was Chee Chee's first time meeting her cousin, Colin Tang. Colin is the son of auntie Merline and uncle Tang. Colin is about 2 months old and he is a strong and handsome boy. Chee Chee was glad to meet Colin and also Alfred on this night.

9 January 2010 - Saturday

On this Saturday morning, mummy planned to bring Chee Chee, Poh Poh, Jiu Jiu and Siao Yi Yi to Butterworth to meet auntie Four and uncle Four for breakfast. We got ourselves ready quite early and heading to Butterworth around 9am.




















Auntie Four and Uncle Four brought us to "Qi Long" Restaurant for Kuih Teow Tng. This restaurant is specialised and famous of Kuih Teow soup. It is really delicious and all of us really enjoyed ourselves.





















After the breakfast, we had some window shopping near the restaurant. After that, we went back to Poh Poh's house.

2 January 2010 - Saturday

Supposingly, mummy had made an appointment with Auntie Aileen for Chee Chee's outdoor photo shooting on this day. But, on this morning, Chee Chee was vomit and diahrea before we wanna go to Penang Swimming Club for photo shooting. So, mummy had to cancel the appointment with Aunti Aileen on very last minute as Chee Chee was not look well. Feel so sorry to cancel the appointment on last minute and hope Auntie Aileen does not mind.

At first, mummy wanted to bring Chee Chee to Doctor Jessica, but Chee Chee was crying madly and beg mummy for not bring her to hospital when she saw mummy carrying her health book. She knew that mummy and daddy wanted to bring her to hospital, she kept begging mummy not to do so. Mummy and daddy really feel pity and decided not to go to hospital yet. They will monitor and see how is the progress. So, mummy and daddy brought Chee Chee to Gurney Plaza for breakfast.

When Chee Chee reached Gurney Plaza, she was very happy and does not look sick at all. She was walking here and there, enjoying the lovely decoration in Gurney Plaza. She just looked very normal and healthy and there is no sign of sickness. So, daddy brought Chee Chee to the playground and we took some photos by using daddy's new camera.

After taking her breakfast and playing in the playground, Chee Chee did not look sick anymore, but she looked very active and energitic now. It was really weird and funny. May be next time when Chee Chee is sick, mummy no need to sent her to hospital but bring her to Gurney. It may cure her sickness and make her happier.
