3 Dec 2009 – Thursday (Chee Chee's 1st day of school)

3 Dec 2009 - It was a big move for Chee Chee on this day. This day was Chee Chee's 1st day of nursery. She had to be independent and attend the nursery herself without supervised. Mummy and daddy are not allowed to stay in school.

On this day, mummy, daddy and grandma were more nervous than Chee Chee. Early on this morning, Chee Chee still not aware that she will be attending nursery by herself. Mummy had explained to her, but i think Chee Chee doesn't really get the meaning.

There was not much photos of school on this day, as Chee Chee cried all the way. When mummy dropped Chee Chee at school and intended to leave, she started to cry. Mummy and teachers tried to calm her down, but it was unsuccessful. At the end, mummy needed to force herself stepped out from the school and left Chee Chee being handled by the teachers and assistants in school. It was really bad feeling for the first half of the day. Mummy was unable to concentrate at work and kept monitoring on her handphone. When it reached 12noon, daddy went to pick Chee Chee back from school.

Huh.. what a big day...

2 Dec 2009 - Wednesday

On this day, almost everything was resume back to normal. Mummy was back to work, Ta Yi Yi and family were also back to Singapore, San Yi Yi also back to KL.

Supposingly, mummy had enrolled the half day nursery school for Chee Chee started on 1 December, but due to too much activities and unable to settle down, we skipped the orientation and first 2 days of school. What a bad habit and wrong guidance from mummy.

On this day, mummy felt sorry and decided to sent Chee Chee to her nursery on 3 Dec 2009. So on this night, we went to Popular book store at Gurney to buy all those necessary stationery. We packed our school bag according to the list provided by teacher. Chee Chee is ready for her 1st day of school.....

1 Dec 2009 – Tuesday (Gong Gong’s birthday)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GONG GONG!!!!!!!!!!

This day was Gong Gong's birthday. That was the reason why Ta Yi Chang, Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng, Zi Ning and San Yi Yi were not back to Singapore and KL respectively. All of them stayed back to celebrate Gong Gong's birthday together.

On this day morning, Gong Gong received a lot of warm wishes and kisses from all of us. He also received some flowers and cakes from his friends. Gong Gong is a great man for all. On this night, all Yi Yis shared to treat Gong Gong a great birthday dinner at CRC restaurant.

All of us reached the restaurant at around 7pm. We had booked a big room to cater so many of us. It was really a warm and happy celebration which all of us were looking forward. Full attendance of all the family members from Singapore and KL. We really had a memorable and joyful night.

After finished all the delicious dishes, it was the cake cutting session. It was Chee Chee's favourite moment. On behalf of all, Chee Chee and Zi Ning leaded all of us to sing "Happy Birthday" song for Gong Gong. Zi Ning and Chee Chee also hold Gong Gong's hand and cut the birthday cake together. It was really a great night for all.

Happy Birthday to Gong Gong and all of us love you very very much......

30 November 2009 - Monday (Rest Day)

Finally, the wedding ceremony for Auntie Four and Uncle Four was completely over. However, mummy still not yet back to work as everyone was very tired after few days celebration. This day was a rest day for everyone of us.

On this day morning, mummy and Chee Chee woke up early and we went to Poh Poh's house for breakfast. Zi Ning, Chuan Zheng, Ta Yi Chang and Ta Yi Yi also woke up very early. We had a great chatting on this morning and to recall all the funny and memorable things that happened during the wedding ceremony.

All of us spend our whole morning, lying on the floor and chit chatting and doing nothing... It was really great and relaxing for doing nothing the whole morning. However, everyone of us enjoyed the moment lying on the floor and without any objection. Unable to describe but the feeling was great....

After spending the whole morning doing nothing, in the afternoon, we decided to do something meaningful, which was to visit Auntie Merline. Oh ya, Auntie Merline had delivered her little prince before Auntie Four's wedding. But due to some chinese believes and "pantang larang", we were not allowed to visit her prior to Auntie Four's wedding. So on this day, since everyone still in Penang, it was the best day to pay Auntie Merline and little baby boy, Colin Tang a visit.

We reached Gu Kong, Kim Poh's house at around 3pm. Auntie Merline and Colin were resting at Kim Poh's house for the confinement period. It was our first time meeting Colin, our new family member. Colin, welcome to the world and family, you are adorable and look exactly like your daddy.... hahaha....

Everyone of us had a great time gathering at Kim Poh's house. Gu Kong even fried the best maggie noodles for all of us. It was mummy's favourite. The fried maggie was really the best and you can't find it anywhere except Gu Kong's house.

After a few hour chatting at Kim Poh's house. All of us left at around 5pm and went to market to buy some food to be cook on this night steamboat. Since most of us were at home, except Auntie Four, we decided to have a reunion steamboat dinner at Poh Poh's house.

All of us helped out in preparing the steamboat and food. We also invited Grandpa and grandma to Poh Poh's house for dinner. It was quite a long time we did not have such wonderful gathering at home already. All of us enjoyed the food and also the precious moment together. I believe, we may have such gathering again only during Chinese New Year.

This night was a great night together, the only missed out part was Auntie Four unable to join. However, at about 10pm, Auntie Four and Uncle Four gave us a surprise and they bought supper for Gong Gong on this night. All of us were so glad to see Auntie Four and Uncle Four back to meet us. Uncle Four's parents were coming together with them as well. It was a great night.

29 Nov 2009 – Sunday (Auntie Four’s wedding day and wedding dinner at Trader’s Hotel)

Early on this day morning, mummy went to buy some breakfast for everyone. Chee Chee and daddy had some more sleep before they went to Poh Poh’s house. Around 8:30am, many people already reached Poh Poh's house. Auntie Four's friends came earlier as they needed to prepare some games for groom and their friends to play before entering the bride's room. Everybody seems very excited and nervous, may be i should said, we were looking forward for the happy ceremony to begin.

By 9:30am, the bridegroom and their "heng tai" reached Poh Poh's house. The most excited moment and ceremony began. It was a traditional and typical wedding ceremony. It started with Jiu Jiu's part, Jiu Jiu had to open the wedding car door, then invited the bridegroom to enter our house. Then followed by serving egg tea and kuih. After that, the next part was the games session which arranged by Auntie Four's friends. After all, the most important session was the tea ceremony. It was a happy and excited morning for everyone, the whole ceremony was full of joys and laughters but it ended with tears and warm hugging with Auntie Four and Uncle Four.

At around 11:30am, we were heading to bridegroom's house. It was slightly late but we still managed to get there on time. The traffic was quite smooth on that day. When we reached Uncle Four's house, many relatives and friends were waiting patiently. They started their ceremony at around 12noon. After staying for awhile, mummy, daddy, San Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu decided to go back home. We said goodbye to Auntie Four and Uncle Four, and took ferry back to Penang Island.

The last part of the whole wedding was the wedding dinner for the bridegroom's side. However, we were quite relaxed after 2 days activities. This night, was only a normal wedding dinner for all of us as there were nothing much we needed to arrange. The wedding dinner on this night was held at Traders Hotel. We reached the hotel at around 7:30pm and the dinner started at 8:00pm sharp.

It was a great and wonderful wedding dinner on this night. Uncle Four had invited a few popular local singers to perform on this night. Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong and Poh Poh were enjoying themselves as one of the singer was some oldies champion for some Astro competition. The whole wedding ceremony for Uncle Four and Auntie Four ended on this night but their new marriage life started from now onwards and they live together happily ever after.......Cheers to Uncle Four and Auntie Four!!!
