27 June 2009 – (Saturday) Swimming at Penang Swimming Club

As Chuan Zheng, Zi Ning and Ta Yi Yi had went back to Singapore on Monday (22 June 09), our life is back to normal and usual again. There was nothing much for us to do on Saturday, but just back to our Tumbletots class. Chee Chee was a bit upset and boring after Zi Ning went back, she missed Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng so much. As mummy felt that Chee Chee was a bit upset and boring, she decided to bring Chee Chee to Penang Swimming Club for a swim. We invited baby Grace to join us. We went there at nearly evening time when it was not so hot. All of us had a great swim and fun time together. We should do more swimming next time as it is a very good exercise for all.

21 June 2009 – (Sunday) Happy Fathers Day

Happy Happy Fathers & Grandfathers Day! This day was Fathers Day and we planned to have some little celebration by going out for brunch at Queensbay with everyone at home. Before heading to Queensbay Mall, we attended our music class first. Initially, mummy planned to let Chee Chee wear the dress that knitted by her but it does not look good on Chee Chee. The dress is a bit too big and too long. It was mummy’s first knitting project, so the dress does not look good and a bit out of sharp. But it is a great efforts as it is not simple to knit a dress for a beginner. Although the dress is a bit out of shape but it is knitted with loves. So it is not just a dress, it is mother’s love.

After wearing the knitted dress, we took a photo above and changed another dress and heading to our music class. After the class, we went to Queensbay to meet up grandpa and grandma. Oh ya, this day was baby Grace’s 4th months old birthday. Happy 4th months birthday to mei mei!! As Suk Suk and Sen Sen were busy handling baby Grace and did some praying at home, they did not come to Queensbay for brunch with us. Grandpa and grandma were at Queensbay, Canton-I Restaurant and they had ordered a lot of food for us. We had a great brunch together.

At night, we went to go to Woka Japanese Restaurant at CityBayview to celebrate the Fathers’ Day dinner. When we reached the restaurant, Chee Chee was busy walking around the restaurant and watching some fish. As she was running and got a bit unbalance, she falled down and knocked her chin and injured her lips. She was crying madly and vomited. All of us were so worried and we decided to bring her to a night clinic. After checked by doctor, it was just minor injury with no harm. So it had spoilt our night and Chee Chee was so sad, mummy decided not to go home but to bring Chee Chee to Gurney for some fun. We had a great shopping and playing at the playground. In short while, Chee Chee had forgotten the pain on her lips and she was enjoying herself playing around.

20 June 2009 – (Saturday) Pre-fathers Day celebration

On this day morning, we went to Tumbletots gym class with Chloe as usual. Zi Ning did not joined us for the Tumbletots as her mummy, Ta Yi Yi was coming to Penang on this day. Ta Yi Yi was coming back to Penang to bring Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning back to Singapore. The holidays in Penang was almost come to an end. They will be going back to Penang on Monday morning.

After the Tumbletots class, Chee Chee was waiting at Poh Poh’s house while San Yi Yi went to the airport to pick up Ta Yi Yi. Poh Poh was busy preparing some delicious foods for lunch. She had fried noodles, prepared the "Si Kuih Teng" dessert and made some "Oh Choh Ku" kuih. Poh Poh is really a wonder "Poh Poh", she can makes wonderful things. Poh Poh, you are great.

Everyone just cannot wait for Ta Yi Yi and San Yi Yi's arrival, not because of them, but we just can't wait to eat the food, hahaha..... After the delicious lunch, all of us had a great chat together while Chee Chee had her afternoon nap. We told Ta Yi Yi what we have done for the pass 2 weeks. We went to many places which she not even been before.

At around 5pm, Chee Chee woke up and we decided to have a swim since the weather was so hot. It was really nice to swim in such hot day. All of us were sitting around the pool to watch them playing in the pool. It was cooling and refreshing after the swim.

On this night, we would be having the pre-fathers day celebration dinner at CRC Restaurant, as Gong Gong would be going to China for his golf trip on Sunday morning. So we have brought forward the celebration to Saturday night. We had ordered 2 tables of course dinner at CRC Restaurant. The food is nice and to gather everyone including Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning is even better. All of us had a wonderful night together. Happy Fathers Day to all fathers and grandfathers!!!

18 June 2009 – (Thursday) Penang Hills, batik shop & Youth Park

Mummy was on leave this day because she planned to bring Chuan Zheng, Zi Ning and Chee Chee to Penang Hill. Mummy had informed Poh Poh about the trip to Penang Hill, so Poh Poh woke up Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning earlier on this day. All of us got ourselves ready by 10am and heading to Penang Hill. This was Chuan Zheng, Zi Ning, Chee Chee Kakak Katya’s first trip to Penang Hill. Poh Poh joined us as well.

We reached the bottom of the hill at around 10:30am. Mummy had bought us the cable car tickets to get up to the top of Penang Hill. All of us were very excited and looking forward to experience the cable car. It was quite crowded on this day as it was school holidays. There were many tourists and students waiting for the cable car together.

All of us got into the cable car, as it was too crowded, therefore, we cannot get a seat and have to stand for the whole journey to the top of Penang Hill. The whole cable car journey took us around half an hour to reach the top of Penang Hill. Although we need to stand the whole way, but all of us were very enjoying chatting and looking at the forest and green scenery.

When we reached the top of the hill, we were very excited and unable to wait to see more things in the hill. Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning brought out the binoculars and look around the Penang view from the top of the hill. The view from the top is really amazing and beautiful. We had enjoyed the great view and great walk around the place. After walking around, we had some rest down a tree and had some sandwiches which prepared by mummy. It was a great experience and memorable day for all of us.

After spending few hours at Penang Hills, we went back to Poh Poh’s house for lunch and nap. All of us slept for a few hours and woke up at 5pm. After refreshed, all of us were energetic and planned to go for more outing. Poh Poh recommended to bring us to a batik factory to see the making of batik cloth and after that can have some ice kacang there. The batik factory is just walking distant, further down from Poh Poh’s house. After visiting the batik factory and shopped for batik cloth, we decided to have some ice kacang just right in front of the batik factory. The ice kacang is very delicious and it has many variety of tropical fruits inside. After a cooling dessert, we want to go to Youth Park for some exercise and playing at the play ground.

We reached Youth Park around 6pm. There were many people exercise and playing at the playground. We met our friend, Xue Khai at the playground too together with his baby sitter, Auntie Lulu. We took some photos with Xue Khai as well.

After playing at the playground, we heard some music from far where many people were doing some cardio aerobics at the stage area. Chee Chee and Zi Ning also joined in the aerobics group. We had a lot of fun and sweat. It was a great day.
