17 Oct 2008 - Chee Chee's Chinese lunar calendar birthday

17 Oct 2008 which was also 19 Sep 2008 in Chinese Lunar Calendar, was Chee Chee's 1 st Chinese calendar birthday. Mummy was on vacation leave this day to celebrate the big day with Chee Chee. All of us woke up early in the morning and got ourselves changed. On this day, it was Guan Yin Ma's birthday as well, therefore, we need to go to temple to pray. Before going to the temple, we need to buy some kuih and also nasi kunyit to pray at home. Mummy went to buy the praying stuffs from Eaton.

We went to Pek Yi Tong and Guan Yin Tng for praying. It was really crowded, so Chee Chee just went into Pek Yi Tong and did not enter Guan Yin Tng. Mummy just represented Chee Chee to pray in Guan Yin Tng. After praying at temples, we went home to pray and also at Poh Poh's house. On this day, Chee Chee was dressed with new dress and new shoes. It was Chee Chee's first time wearing the leather shoes as it was not allow before the aged of 1. The dress was bought by auntie Anna and the shoes were bought by Ta Yi Yi from Singapore. Thank you so much to auntie Anna and Ta Yi Yi.

On this day, Su Su and Sen Sen were back to Penang. They had bought a very nice present for Chee Chee. It was a lovely car walker with lots of functions and music. Chee Chee loves the car so much and she had spend her time playing with it. Thank you so much to Su Su and Sen Sen. Besides that, Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma also gave Chee Chee a big ang pao for her birthday. Thank you so much to Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma. Chee Chee loves you all so much!!!

On this night, we had our dinner at Poh Poh's house. Poh Poh had cooked us a very delicious and tranditional food for birthday. We had mee sua, red eggs, pies and etc. It was really a very very delicious birthday meal. Thank you so much to Poh Poh for preparing all these.

It was Chee Chee's first time to eat mee sua and she loves it so much. All of us had a great dinner and quality time together. 生日快乐，宝贝芷琦！！！

16 Oct 2008 - Chee Chee and Xue Khai's Birthday Party

16 Oct 2008 is Xue Khai's birthday and 17 Oct 2008 (chinese lunar calendar 19 Sep) is Chee Chee's birthday. Therefore, mummy decided to organise a birthday party for these 2 babies together. After a discussion with Xue Khai's mother, we decided to celebrate the birthday party at KFC (Larut Road). We had invited mummy's colleagues and friends. It was a big party which we had invited 30 over guests.


It was a big day for Xue Khai and Chee Chee. Mummy was very excited and had tried very hard to make this a memorable birthday party. We had bought some party packs and also ordered a special birthday cake from Shervone Cake House (auntie Sharon).


After work, mummy was rushing back home to change and get herself ready to bring Chee Chee for the birthday party. We reached KFC at 7pm, which was just on time. Xue Khai was there with his parents and grandma. Most of the guests came there by 7:30pm and the party began. We started with the eating session. Mummy had ordered lots of food and all of us were enjoying the KFC meals.


After the makan makan session, we brought out the lovely cake which specially made by auntie Sharon for Xue Khai and Chee Chee. It was really a lovely cake. There were 2 little bears on the cake, one is Xue Khai and another one is Chee Chee. All our friends sat together and started to sing Xue Khai and Chee Chee the birthday song. Both of them cut the cake together. It was a chocolate mint cake which is really delicious. Thousand thanks to auntie Sharon, Shervone Cake House.

It was really a memorable and fun birthday party. All of us had a precious time together. Chee Chee had received lots of presents and gifts from all the aunties, uncles and baby friends. Thanks to auntie Sharon for the lovely cake. Thanks to auntie Soo Sun for taking lots of nice photos. Thank you so so so much to everyone!!! Chee Chee loves you all. Thank you for attending Chee Chee's 1st birthday and you all had made it a memorable one for Chee Chee.

11 & 12 Oct 2008 - Weekend

Oh, it was weekend again. Time flies really fast. This Saturday was Chee Chee's second time to Tumbletots. Auntie Eileen and Chloe came to my house to pick us up for the gym lesson at 8:45am. It was too early for us to get ready, so Chee Chee only manage to get shower after the gym lesson. Tumbletots is really a fun gym lesson for Chee Chee. Chee Chee and Chloe were so excited playing in the class. This Gymbabes class teaches us on the motor skills and encourage the baby to explore. It is really a good lesson for a baby.

Besides Tumbletots gymbabes class, Chee Chee still continue with her Muzikgarten class on Sunday morning. As usual, we departed from home at 9am. On this Sunday, we reached Lake Plaza slightly earlier, therefore, we spend some times walking around the plaza. As Chee Chee was curious with the machine plane, mummy decided to let Chee Chee to try on the machine game for the first time. At first, Chee Chee was quite nervous when the machine plane moved, but after awhile, she got used to it and started to enjoy it.

10 October 2008 - Friday

On this day, all of us went to CRC for dinner with Medan Gu Gong, Kim Poh and Kenny. After mummy came back from work, then we were heading to CRC to meet our relatives from Medan. We had a delicious and heavy dinner on this night.

5th October 2008 - Sunday

All of us need to wake up early in the Sunday morning from now onwards, because we need to attend our music class at 9:30am at Lake Plaza in Bukit Jambul. As usual, we came back from the class at 10am and Chee Chee continued to sleep after the class.

In the afternoon, daddy brought mummy and Chee Chee to Butterworth to visit his friends and a newborn baby boy. All of us was so excited to meet the baby boy and his parents - uncle Stephen and auntie Lee Ling. Congratulations to the parents and welcome to the baby boy. When we were visiting the baby boy, uncle William, auntie and their lovely handsome son was there as well. it was a great afternoon.

After visiting the baby boy, we went back to Penang via ferry. It was Chee Chee's first time to travel on ferry. Mummy was very excited so as Chee Chee. We took a lot of photos on the ferry. It was a wonderful day.

4 October 2008 - Saturday

It was another lovely Saturday. As Chee Chee and mummy were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house on Friday night, so mummy managed to go to Pulau Tikus market to buy breakfast early in the morning. On this day, Chee Chee's grandparents went to Genting with friends early in the morning. So we were having breakfast ourselves. At 9am, auntie Eileen and baby Chloe came to Poh Poh's house as we planned to go to Tumbletots together. After our breakfast, we departed for our Gymbabes session at Tumbletots. It was our first free trial for the gym class. The class was fun and we get the chance to do exercise with baby friends. Therefore, we decided to join the class permanently. After the gymbabes, we went home for a rest. Chee Chee got a long sleep after the gym class. At tea time, we got a call from auntie Su Lin, she invited us out for a drink with auntie Hooi Hooi as well. Chee Chee and mummy were changed and auntie Su Lin came to Poh Poh's house to pick us up. We went to Coffee Bean at Belissa Row to meet auntie Hooi Hooi and her baby boy. It had a great chat and time gather together. Hope we can come out more often and hope that auntie Su Lin can come back to Penang more often.

After tea, we went home at 6pm for a shower. Chee Chee had skipped her nap. After shower, we went to Poh Poh's house again for Chee Chee's dinner. When Chee Chee finished her dinner, all of us, including san yi yi, san yi chang, si yi yi, uncle Chor Bee and jiu jiu went to Queensbay Mall for dinner at TGIF. As Chee Chee was very tired today with so many functions, she fall asleep on the journey to Queensbay. She woke up after an hour with full battery again. Mummy got Chee Chee a high chair at TGIF and all of us were enjoying our meals together. It was a wonderful dinner. After dinner, we did some shopping at Queensbay Mall as well.

Selamat Hari Raya

Hurray, mummy, daddy, grandpa, grandma.... and everybody was having 2 days holiday to celebrate Hari Raya. So everybody would have more times to spend with Chee Chee for these 2 days. On the first day of Hari Raya, mummy and daddy woke up early, so we went to Chuan Chew Restaurant to have a heavy and delicious breakfast. As all of us were busy eating, so mummy had fogotten to take some photos for Chee Chee.

In the afternoon, mummy went out and left Chee Chee at home. Chee Chee spend her afternoon resting at home. At night, we decided to go to Queensbay Mall for dinner. When we got to Sakae Sushi, it was crowded and long queue to get in the restaurant. We were not patient enough to wait, therefore, we decided to go to TGIF. We had a great dinner. After dinner, we did some window shopping and we left Queensbay Mall at 9:30pm.

When we reached home after dinner, daddy decided to go out with his friends, therefore, he sent mummy and Chee Chee to Poh Poh's house to stay over night.

On the second day of Hari Raya, we woke up early as well and we went to Gurney Drive for Liang Liang Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. Mummy forgot to take the photo there as well because she was so excited eating the delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we went back to Poh Poh's house. Chee Chee had asleep and woke up at 12noon for her lunch. While she having her lunch, 5th uncle came to visit Poh Poh together with Wei Qing. Wei Qing is growing bigger and prettier now.

At night, we went to Gurney Hotel Japanese Restaurant for dinner. It was our first time to this restaurant. The food was not bad here and the price was reasonable as well.
