25 December 2009 - Merry Christmas!!!

Ho!Ho!Ho! Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

This day was Christmas Day and it was also the day we went to Phuket. It was great grandpa's Chinese Lunar birthday, so grandma and family had organised a trip to Phuket to celebrate great grandpa's birthday. On this morning, all of us woke up very early and preparing ourselves for our 3 days 2 nights trip to Phuket. Chee Chee and Grace were very excited and looking forward for this family trip.

We reached the airport few hours before the flight, so we had our brunch at the Mcdonald in airport. While waiting for the flight, all of us were enjoying ourselves chit-chatting and photos shooting. It was our first time to Phuket. Chee Chee was very happy.

The flight was slightly delayed, but it did not affected our happy mood. Chee Chee enjoyed every moment in the plane. As Chee Chee was already 2 years old, so she had to occupy a seat in the plane. She was really mature enough to sit by her own and fasten the seat belt. When the flight departed, she was able to remain seated and enjoying the flight. She is really a big and mature girl now. When the stewardess served her some snacks and drink, she was really enjoying the muffin. Mummy and daddy were really pleased to see her big girl growing up. It was about an hour flight. We reached Phuket in the afternoon. We took about 1 hour ride to the hotel to meet up great grandpa, and all granduncles and grandaunts. Through out the whole journey to hotel, Chee Chee had her nap in mummy's arms. She woke up when we reached the hotel. All of us were very happy to meet with all the relatives.

On this night, granduncles and grand aunts had decided to celebrate great grandpa's birthday in an Italian restaurant. All of us had dressed up nicely, and met everyone in the restaurant. It was really a great gathering for so many relatives from many different places. Everyone had a very pleasant night chatting and laughting together. It was a great celebration to bring everyone gathered here in Phuket.

The food and the atmosphere of the night was really wonderful. The restaurant was full of joys and laugthers. We took a lot of photos together as it was really a great moment and great pleasure to be here. Chee Chee and Grace also enjoying themselves looking at the new and different environment. After the dinner, we had the cake cutting and birthday song session. Everyone gathered together and sang great grandpa the birthday song. I believed he was very happy and warm to have this moment with everyone in the room.

24 December 2009 - Christmas Eve!!!

This year, there were many activities and functions for Chee Chee on this Christmas Eve. As she had started her school life now, there was a Christmas Eve celebration in her nursery. Mummy had registered for Chee Chee to join the nursery special celebration and gift exchange on this day. We had prepared a gift worth RM5 to be exchange with Chee Chee's friends in school.

On this day morning, we woke up very early and got Chee Chee dressed very nice. The theme colour for this day to school was "RED". Mummy had chosen a flowery dress for Chee Chee. She took her present and ready for the school Christmas Eve celebration party. Besides exchaging present, teacher would also play a lot of games and teach Chee Chee how to bake cookies. It was a great party with all Chee Chee's friends. After her school, Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house for some rest. Mummy was working on this day, but she would be back from work earlier and would brought Chee Chee to another Christmas Eve CountDown party.

When mummy came back from work, daddy and mummy had bought Chee Chee a lovely Christmas present. It was a tricycle. Chee Chee was very excited to see her Christmas present and unwilling to go to bath. She loves her present very much, and mummy and daddy glad to see her happy face. It was lovely.

On this night, we would have our Christmas countdown party at uncle Chian Wei and auntie Cindy's house. Many uncles and aunties were joining the party as well. And there were 3 kids on this night, Chee Chee, Grace and Ryan.

We had a great time together. All the aunties and uncles had prepared the steamboat dinner. Everyone of us were really enjoying the time chit-chatting and laughing. The house was full of joys and laughters. 3 little prince and princess were enjoying their time playing together as well.

After the dinner, we also had the gifts exchange for everyone. All the kids were very happy as everyone of them had received several Christmas presents. Chee Chee was very excited and happy to open all her presents. It was a very memorable and grateful Christmas night.

21 December 2009 - Monday

It was a normal Monday night. After taking our dinner, usually we will stayed at home and watching movie. However, on this night, as daddy needed to get some thing from Uncle Hun Lin, so after our dinner at home, we followed daddy to uncle Hun Lin and auntie Mindy's house.

Uncle Hun Lin and auntie Mindy had decorated their house with lovely Christmas decoration. There was a very nice Christmas tree at the dining area. Chee Chee loves the Christmas tree very much. We took a few photos with the Christmas tree and deco. It was really nice visiting uncle Hun Lin and auntie Mindy. We hope to come here more often.

20 December 2009 - First time to cinema!!!

On this Sunday morning, as usual, we went to MusicGarten class. After the lesson, we headed to Gurney Plaza as mummy planned to bring Chee Chee to watch a movie in cinema for the very first time. We were to watch a Disney cartoon this day, it was called "The Princess and the Frog". We reached the cinema at around 11am and queue for the tickets at the counter. Chee Chee was very excited and happy, but mummy and daddy were more excited and nervous than Chee Chee. It was Chee Chee's first time watching a movie in cinema and mummy and daddy were confidence that Chee Chee can manage to finish and enjoy the movie.

When the show began, Chee Chee was very excited to see the big screen. She kept talking and laughing and telling mummy on the Walt Disney logo and advertisement. She was really enjoying the show and it was a great experience for all of us. We will come again for any other cartoon movies in future.

On this night, Grandpa and Grandma had invited an uncle and auntie to join us for dinner at a nyonya restaurant in New World Park. It was a great dinner with everyone. Chee Chee also had some walking at the New World Park. There was some performance on this night. Chee Chee enjoyed the night very much.
