30 August 2009 - Sunday

Chee Chee was getting better on this day. But there was no musikgarten class on this day due to Merdeka holiday. Therefore, mummy planned to bring Chee Chee to Aquarium at Batu Maung. Before heading to aquarium, we went to Canton-I at Queensbay Mall for breakfast with grandma.

While having breakfast, Chee Chee was sneezed and cough for few times. It seems like her flu and cough is not fully recovered. So, we decided to cancel our trip to aquarium. After the breakfast, we just heading back home to have some medicine and rest.

After taking medicine and had a good nap, Chee Chee woke up freshed and energetic. So, mummy planned for an outdoor activity for all of us. We dressed ourselves and daddy brought us to Youth Park for some exercise.

We brought our ball to Youth Park and had some fun playing at the field. It was quite a great exercise for all of us as we got the chance to run the field and chasing for the ball. Chee Chee was very excited and happy. Since she sicked last few week, we had been quarantined ourselves and staying at home. Today, we got a chance to get sweat and do some running together. It was really fun.

After playing the football, daddy brought us to the playground in Youth Park. As usual, Chee Chee loves the swing at the park. She had a great time playing around. We also met Xue Khai at Youth Park on this day as well, but Chee Chee was busy playing around so did not manage to talk to Xue Khai.

After an exercise, we had our dinner with grandpa and grandma at Ryoma Japanese Restaurant. It was quite sometime we did not come to this restaurant already. We had ordered lots of nice and delicious food and all of us had a pleasant night.

28 August 2009 - Friday

It was a lovely Friday again, as usual, all of us will be back to Poh Poh's house for dinner and she will defintely cooked a lot of nice and delicious dishes. After the dinner, grandpa, grandma and daddy went back home but Chee Chee and mummy were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house.

Besides, during the Merdeka Holiday, Siao Yi Yi and Poh Poh would be visiting Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning at Singapore. They would take the flight on 29 August 2009. On this pre-visit Singapore night, Poh Poh was busying in preparing all the foods and gifts that she wanted to bring down to Singapore for Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. She had made some pumpkin cake, "oh choh ku" which mummy did not know how to call this in English. All of us was trying to help out but there was nothing much we can do, as we might mess up the thing. All of us had fun and eating the kuih done by Poh Poh while she was busy. We were sure that Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning will had a great time when Poh Poh and Siao Yi Yi in Singapore. Hope all of them will have great fun !!!

17 & 18 August 2009 - Oh Chee Chee is sick....

Supposingly, mummy was on leave and want to accompany and arrange some interesting events for Chee Chee. But, unfortunately, she got sick on this day. She was catching cold, cough and slight fever. Too bad and she had to stay at home and quarantined herself for couple of days until she fully recovered.

As Chee Chee was not allowed to go to public when she was having flu, so she had to stay at home all the time and playing with her favourite toy, Barney. She was carrying her Barney toy and watching her Barney show in the room from day until night.

On the next day (18 August 2009), Chee Chee was still not yet recovered, therefore, mummy gotta extend her leave as well. Both of us went to Poh Poh's house in the afternoon and got our meals there as well. At around 5pm in the afternoon, we got a special guest from Singapore that came to Poh Poh's house to visit us. She is mummy's best and old old friend, auntie Mei Mei. It is Chee Chee and auntie Mei Mei's first met. We had a great chat and laugh at Poh Poh's house. It is really nice to meet auntie Mei Mei and she would be back to Singapore after a few days.

16 August 2009 - Sunday

On this Sunday morning, we woke up at Poh Poh's house as Chee Chee and mummy were staying over night at Poh Poh's house. Daddy came to pick us up from Poh Poh's house for our muzikgarten lesson. We got ourselves ready and ready to go for the music class.

After the music class, Grandpa, Grandma, Suk Suk, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, San Yi Chang, San Yi Yi, Si Yi Yi and Siao Yi Yi came to Queensbay Mall to meet us for dim sum breakfast at Canton-I Restaurant. We seldom came to Queesbay for breakfast as it is too far from home.

However, it is good to have something special occasionally. We had a great time together before San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang back to KL. After the Hongkie breakfast, Chee Chee was sneezing and looks like catching cold. We did not go for any shopping and decided to bring Chee Chee back for some rest. She looked like going to get sick, oh oh.............

15 August 2009 - Saturday

Saturday morning, we were having our Tumbletots lesson as usual with Chee Chee's friend, Chloe and auntie Eileen. After the lesson, Chee Chee and mummy were getting some rest on the sofa at Poh Poh's dining area. Si Yi Yi and Siao Yi Yi had nothing to do, therefore, decided to bring Chee Chee to Mcdonald for breakfast.

Mcdonald is the nice place to eat and play. Chee Chee loves Mcdonald so much, once she knew Si Yi Yi was going to bring her to Mcdonald, she just got herself dressed and asked mummy to help her wear her shoes.

Once we reached Mcdonald, Chee Chee just can't wait for us to order food and she straight away ran to the play corner with Si Yi Yi. As daddy just woke up and haven't got his breakfast, he also came to Mcdonald to meet us for his brunch. All of us enjoyed the meals and fun at Mcdonald. After an hour at Mcdonald, mummy had a hard time to convince Chee Chee to leave Mcdonald, so had to force Chee Chee to leave the place.

On this night, San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang were back to Penang. So we decided to have a dinner together at home. We called it another birthday party for Siao Yi Yi again, but this round was the replacement for her Chinese Lunar Calendar birthday. On this night, Poh Poh had cooked some mee suan for us but she was worried that the food was not enough to serve everyone, she ordered us to buy some KFC as well. However, all of us had a very full and heavy dinner on this night and there were still many left over food which all of us unable to finish them. It was a great night together. Once again, Happy Chinese Lunar Birthday to Siao Yi Yi !!!

14 August 2009 - Happy Belated Birthday to Siao Yi Yi

Hurray! It was Friday again! As on 9 August 2009, mummy and Siao Yi Yi were very sick and suspected H1N1 patients, so we did not celebrate Siao Yi Yi's birthday on the exact date. Now, both of them had recovered and confirmed not H1N1, so we would like to replace the birthday party on this night.

All of us came home earlier after work. Grandpa, grandma and Suk Suk went to buy a birthday cake for Siao Yi Yi while mummy, daddy and Chee Chee went to pick up Si Yi Yi from work. All of us were heading to Poh Poh’s house.

The party started at 8pm and Poh Poh had prepared a lot of delicious food such as belacan fried rice, tongyam soup, lam mee, fried bread, pumpkin cake, fruits and etc. All of us enjoyed the food very much. It was like the old time when mummy was a kid, Poh Poh always cooked all these food for birthday celebration.

All of us were eating too much until we unable to eat the cake. We had some tea break and chit chatting at the balcony for awhile before cake cutting session.

After some chit chatting, we gathered together and sang Siao Yi Yi a Happy Birthday song. It is Chee Chee's favourite song. We blow the candles and cut the cake together. It was a lovely cake and all of us had a great night together. Once again, Happy Belated Birthday to Siao Yi Yi and may all your wishes come true!!!
