4 June 2009 – Arrival of Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning

Oh, mummy is so sorry for being so lazy and did not update blog for nearly 3 weeks. Why??? Is it because we have nothing to update??? No, no, no, it is because we have too much outdoor activities in these 3 weeks and it was too tiring to update blog after that. However, our super VIP had gone back to Singapore and everything is back to normal, then mummy will try to recall all the activities and pen it down here.

Let's us start with 4 of June. This day was the arrival date of our super VIP – Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning from Singapore. Mummy had decided to fetch them from airport during her lunch time and would be working from home on the second half of the day. We had been very excited and looking forward on their arrival. The purpose of their trip is to attend Wei Nee Yi Yi’s wedding ceremony on the coming weekend. However, Ta Yi Yi will only stayed in Penang over the weekend and left Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning in Penang for 2 weeks. Hurray, it will be a very exciting and happening time for all of us in Penang.

Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning arrived in Penang at 12:30noon and we were heading back to Poh Poh’s house immediately. The delicious lunch was ready for us. Poh Poh had prepared some fried mee hoon, bak chang and dessert for us. Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning were quickly bathing themselves to make sure they are clean from any virus, then only we sat down together for our lunch.

Chee Chee was over excited to see Zi Ning one this day. When she saw Zi Ning, she was like shocked and stunned. She kept following Zi Ning from one place to another. No matter where Zi Ning goes, she just followed her every single step. It was like a dream to her and she was hoping to see Zi Ning everyday and now her dream becomes true. On this afternoon, she refused to go for her afternoon nap as she wanted to play with Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng. Aiyoyo, my dearest princess, I think this coming 2 weeks you will become “siao kia” with no discipline at all and only playing from day to night. So these coming 2 weeks would be Chee Chee’s holiday vacation as well.

On this night, we had a family reunion dinner at home with Poh Poh's homemade food. Ta Yi Yi missed all these foods like crazy as she had been craving for these home-cooked foods for some times. All of us had a great and very satisfied meal on this night. It is the best food in Penang which you cannot find in else where.

31 May 2009 - Sunday

On this day, we have to attend the toddler Muzikgarden class as usual. We woke up very early and departed to the class by 9am. When we reached there, Zheng Sen was not there because he was having chicken pox. The class started at 9:30am for only 2 kids - Chee Chee and Chloe. On this day, Chloe was on a bad mood. She kept on crying and demand to be carry. After few times interruption, Chloe's parents decided to quit the class. So at the end, only left Chee Chee alone in the class. Teacher Emiline still carry on with the lesson for half an hour. Chee Chee is very cooperative and responsive to all the things that teacher taught her to do. Daddy and mummy really proud of you my dearest baby girl.
















After the music class, we went to the newly renovated Mcdonalds at Greenlane. It is a brand new place for Chee Chee. It was our first time here since after renovated, we were very looking forward for the better environment. When we got there, it was very crowded. Daddy was queuing to buy the breakfast for us and mummy went up stairs to find a seat. The second floor was not well-designed for family gathering or kids fun place. Supposingly, Mcdonalds is a place for kids to play and eat. But this Greenlane Mcdonalds is not properly designed the playground and seating arrangement. The playground is built at corner which you are unable to visual your kids playing while you are eating. You have to stand there to look after him/her playing all the time. In the middle, it is a party room which is locked when there is no party. I don't really know how to describe it, but I am quite disappointed with it. May be I had put too high expectation on it.
















After the breakfast, we went to Poh Poh's house to take away Chee Chee's porridge. Chee Chee went back home and have a rest. After taking her lunch, she doesn't feel like going to bed yet. Therefore, grandma decided to bring Chee Chee to auntie Siew's house to meet auntie Siew's mother. Auntie Siew is grandma's best friend. It is our first time to auntie Siew's house. Chee Chee was very excited and enjoyed to come to auntie Siew's house because she has big ponds inside and outside the house with fishes. Chee Chee was quite well behaved on this day and she did listened to mummy most of the time. After a while, we left and heading back home for Chee Chee's afternoon nap.
















On this night, Chee Chee has to join daddy and mummy to auntie Siow Wei's wedding dinner at Traders Hotel. Chee Chee was dressed like a little princess and wanted to attend a grand ballroom party. We reached the hotel quite early. However, most of the aunties and uncles were there as well. Chee Chee was very excited to see so many people and friends around. She also made some new friends on this night. We had taken lots of photos together.
















During the dinner, Chee Chee was quite well behaved in the beginning. But after a few dishes, she started to make noise and demand her daddy to carry her. She wanted to walk and play out there and did not want to sit on her chair. Daddy had to bring her out and let her walk and play around. She was really bad in sitting for long hours and over demanding. Mummy really doesn't know how to tune her behaviour and this bad habits. She was being over pampered since her early age and now it is very difficult to correct this and very difficult for mummy to bring her out alone.
















Other then this bad habit, Chee Chee is considered as a cute and good baby. She loves to make friend with others and she is a very cheerful kids. On this wedding night, she was enjoying herself meeting up with new friends and dancing with them at the dance floor. While the bride and aunties were singing on the stage, Chee Chee was so supportive and keep clapping her hands and dance. She was really enjoying herself and cheered the people around her. She is so so so so cute............ Oh anyway, thank you so much to auntie Siow Wei for inviting us to attend her special night. Congratulations to auntie Siow Wei and her hubby, wishes them all the best!!!

30 May 2009 - Saturday

This Saturday was a bit unusual as compared to our normal Saturday. We did not stay over night at Poh Poh's house on Friday night. All of us woke up early morning and wanted to accompany Grace to her first Muzikgarden lesson. Yaya, you heard me correctly, Grace is only 3 months old now, but she is ready for her music class.

This was Grace's first music trial lesson. All of us was very excited to see Grace's reaction, so we decided to join Grace for the first trial. Daddy also joined us for the lesson. During the lesson, Chee Chee was the assistant instructor. She was sitting beside teacher Emiline and trying her best to demostrate to everyone in the class. My girl is big now. She no longer a small little baby.

Grace was quite responsive and she enjoyed the music class. She did not make much noise and behaved very well in the class. As a first timer, it is considered as excellent response. I believe Grace would like to register for the class after this. Besides, Suk Suk and Sen Sen were also enjoying themselves playing with Grace. It is a golden half an hour for parents to play with their baby. Mummy really hopes everyone can enjoys every moment of it.

After being an assistant instructor, we left the music class and went to the Tumbletots gym session. It was daddy's first time joined us for the gym session. We were slightly late but we did not miss anything. Chee Chee was very excited and brought daddy around the gym area. She showed daddy all the steps and demonstrated to daddy how she climb. Oh one thing to mention, on this day, the teacher did a roll over for Chee Chee again, and for this time, she did not cry at all. Few months back, teacher did the same thing on her, she cried and angry with teacher for a month. Since then, we never tried the roll over on her.

After the gym session, all of us was very tired and hungry. We went home for our late breakfast. After that, daddy had to meet up with his friend at Butterworth. So, Chee Chee and mummy went to Poh Poh's house for their lunch and afternoon nap. Chee Chee had a long nap this afternoon. While Chee Chee was sleeping, mummy, Si Yi Yi, Siao Yi Yi and Poh Poh had attended Wei Nee Yi Yi's Registration of Marriage ceremony. Congratulations to Wei Nee Yi Yi and Yi Chang!!! Chee Chee will attend your wedding on this coming weekend.

On this night, Chee Chee joined daddy and mummy for dinner. We met up with uncle Hun Lin, auntie Mindy, uncle Chian Wei, auntie Cindy, uncle Fook Hee at Dome Gurney Plaza. It has been some times that Chee Chee did not joined them for dinner. We ordered some sandwishes and pasta. Chee Chee loves the toasts and french fries. After awhile, Suk Suk and Sen Sen also joined us at Dome after they settled down Grace at home. After the meal, we went for some window shopping with auntie Cindy. It was a great night meeting up with all aunties and uncles.

29 May 2009 - Friday

Friday is the beginning of happy moments. Normally, Chee Chee has more activities on Friday until Sunday. During weekdays, there is not much outting or functions for Chee Chee as everyone is working. So on this Friday, after work, all of us went back to Poh Poh's house for dinner. As usual, Poh Poh cooked a lot of delicious food for us. It was a good time when everyone comes back and Poh Poh can cook several dishes for us. No matter what Poh Poh cook, it just tastes wonderful. Thank you so much to Poh Poh!!!





















After dinner, all of us sat down and watched some TV shows. We had some chit chatting and by 9:30pm, we left Poh Poh's house as daddy needed to go to Bayswater apartment near e-Gate to meet up someone. It is a nice apartment with very nice and clear facilities. We had a walk around the recreation areas such as swimming pool and kids playground. The facilities are well maintained and clean. It is a nice place to stay. We left the place quite late as Chee Chee doesn't want to leave the playground. Although she was playing alone, but she seem quite enjoying. If she can comes during the day time and play with more kids, I am sure it will be more fun.
