16 May 2009 - Saturday

It was another Saturday. Saturday is a busy and happening day for Chee Chee as mummy and daddy are not working and free to bring Chee Chee for more outting. Just as usual, on Saturday morning, we had to attend the Tumbletots gym class together with Chloe and auntie Eileen. Recently, we had more classmates in the gym session as more and more babies had joined the class. It is more fun now to have so many baby friends playing together.

After the gym class, Chee Chee and mummy went back to Poh Poh's house and both of us feel a bit hungry. Therefore, we decided to go to the Mcdonald at Sunrise Tower with Si Yi Yi and Siao Yi Yi. Chee Chee had been to Mcdonald before, but that time she was still too small for the playground. Now, Chee Chee is a big girl now, and she is able to climb and slide by herself. On this day, there was a birthday party in Mcdonald, therefore, there were many kids playing in the playground. However, Chee Chee is very brave and able to protect herself and mixed in the crowd. Chee Chee was having a great time playing in the playground. After running up and down, Chee Chee was hungry and tired, therefore, we just stopped to play and sat down for the delicious Mcdonald Happy Meal. Chee Chee loves the fries very much. After filled up the stomach, we continued to play in the playground for another half an hour. Daddy also came to join us in Mcdonald for his lunch.

After leaving Mcdonald, we went back to Poh Poh's house for Chee Chee's lunch. As she had an exhausting morning, she falled asleep right after her lunch. She had a long nap until 5:30pm.

On this night, mummy and Chee Chee needed to attend a wedding dinner at Wonderland Restaurant, Komtar. It was mummy's colleague's wedding dinner. Most of mummy's colleagues were there on this night. Chee Chee was dressed nicely and waiting for uncle Alvin to fetch us to the function. Auntie Siew Ean and baby Xue Khai also came to our house and followed uncle Alvin to the wedding dinner. Daddy did not joined us for the wedding dinner as he had to attend uncle Fook Hee's birthday celebration.

We met a lot of new friends in the wedding dinner. Mummy had introduced some new boy friends for Chee Chee. All of them are lovely and handsome. Chee Chee is very glad to know them and it was really nice meeting all of them. It was a wonderful night but a bit challenging for mummy to bring Chee Chee to wedding dinner alone. Although, Chee Chee did make some noise during the dinner, however, she was just feeling too bored sitting down for too long. Overall, she was behaved alright and can consider as a "good girl" on this night. Anyway, congratulations to auntie Koh Sim and his hubby and wishes them happy forever!!!

You got a mail !!!

On 7 May 2009 morning, a postman delivered a big envelope to Chee Chee. Chee Chee got a mail for the very first time. She had received a big envelope attention to her name. It was a letter from Zi Ning all the way from Singapore. Zi Ning jie jie, it is very very touching and thankful for sending Chee Chee the first mail by post with so many wonderful painting. Chee Chee was so excited and happy to receive it. The paintings are wonderful and the effort of sending the mail is priceless..... Chee Chee loves you and miss you so much Zi Ning jie jie......

10 May 2009 - HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY

10 May 2009 was the 2nd Sunday of the month of May, which was Mothers' Day. This was mummy's second time celebrating mothers' day. For sure, we have planned a full day activities on this special day.

First event, we had invited 3 mummies - Chee Chee's mummy, Chee Chee's mummy's mummy and Chee Chee's daddy's mummy. Hahaha.... can you get it? In simple language, Chee Chee's mummy, Poh Poh and Grandma. This day was a special day for these 3 special women. So we had gathered everyone to go to Park Royal Hotel for lunch buffet celebration together. It is a nice hotel with a very green and tropical view. Grandpa, grandma, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee had reached the hotel earlier as we would like to walk around the hotel. By 12 noon, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, San Yi Yi San Yi Chang, Si Yi Yi, Si Yi Chang, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu were reached the hotel too. As this day was a special day and the lunch buffet was crowded with people, we were arranged to sit in the big ballroom.

Chee Chee was very excited to see many people and kids in the restaurant. She was enjoying herself walking around and outside the ballroom. All of us were also enjoying the food there as it was full of variety and delicious. It was a right choice to come here for the mothers' day celebration as all of us was satisfied with the food and environment. Other then that, the buffet price is also reasonable and all mummies had received a lovely carnation flower as the mothers' day gift. We spend a pleasure 2 hours lunch together.

After the lunch, all of us were heading home for a rest. Chee Chee had her lunch at home. In the afternoon, daddy's friends planned to visit uncle Fook Hee, auntie Elisa and their Prince Ryan. Chee Chee had met Ryan before but it was one month ago when Ryan was just a newborn. Ryan is one month old now who just celebrated his fullmoon last week. So, we would like to visit him again. When we reached uncle Fook Hee's house, all the aunties and uncles were there. Chee Chee was so excited to see everyone and especially baby Ryan. Chee Chee loves to meet all aunties, uncles and her baby friends. We hope other aunties and uncles will deliver more baby friends for Chee Chee and Ryan to play with.

At night, daddy decided to treat grandma a japanese dinner at Ryoma Restaurant. This is a familiar place for all for us as we came here quite often. We had a loving dinner together. This day was a warm and touching day. All of us had a great time together. The only non-perfect thing on this day was that Suk Suk, Sen Sen and baby Grace were not in Penang to celebrate this day with us, but we hope that they have a great time back in Jakarta too. Once again, Happy Mothers's Day to all mothers...........Chee Chee loves you all always.........

9 May 2009 - Wesak Day

9 May 2009 was Wesak Day which fall on a Saturday. So, we do not have Tumbletots gym class on this day. Chee Chee and mummy were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house on this weekend again. On Saturday morning, both of us woke up early and suggested we go out for breakfast together as Gong Gong was not working on this day as well. We woke up Si Yi Yi and Siao Yi Yi and decided to go to a chinese teahouse at town area. We also called San Yi Yi to join us for breakfast as she was back in Penang.

All of us were got ourselves ready by around 10am. As all of us wish to go for breakfast together and did not want to seperate into 2 cars, so we were squeezed in Gong Gong's car together. As 3 Yi Yis and mummy were sitting behind the car and it was too packed, Chee Chee was sitting on Poh Poh's laps at the front seat. We reached the teahouse and Gong Gong had ordered many nice and healthy food for all of us. It is an unique and classic type of chinese teahouse, which is decorated with some antiques. It is quite a special place for breakfast. It was our first time here.

After breakfast, we gave daddy a call to wake him up. He was at home with grandpa and grandma. Gong Gong just dropped us back home after breakfast as Chee Chee and mummy would like to join grandma to the Christian Dior new bag launching at E&O hotel. Grandma had gotten the invitation to the event. As this weekend was mothers' day, so mummy and grandma planned to find themselves a mothers' day gift. 4 of us, grandma, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee reached E&O hotel at about 12noon. There were not much people attending the launching event. There was a new range of handbag lauched by Christian Dior. Mummy was not really interested on the bag but we were more on taking Chee Chee's photos around E&O hotel. We just spend about half an hour looking on the bags, but we spend more times walking around E&O hotels for some nice shooting on Chee Chee. It was a nice place for photos shooting.

After a tiring morning, Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house for her lunch and afternoon nap. She had a very good rest at Poh Poh's house while mummy went to the bridal shop with San Yi Yi, Si Yi Yi and Poh Poh to choose Si Yi Yi's wedding gauns. At night, Chee Chee joined grandpa and grandma to Queensbay Mall for dinner. It was a great Wesak Day.
