3 May 2009 -Sunday

It was the day for Chee Chee's favourite music class. On this day, Chee Chee woke up very early and got herself ready for the music lesson. We reached Lake Plaza slightly earlier on this day. Chee Chee was enjoying herself and also had a great fun meeting up with baby Chloe and baby Zhen Sian. It is really to see all the babies are growing up fast and healthy.

The music lesson end in 30 minutes. It was a short but compact lesson. Everyone learn a lot from the class. After the lesson, daddy decided to bring Chee Chee and mummy out for breakfast. We planned to go to Gurney Plaza, as usual, Suk Suk, Sen Sen and baby Grace would meet us there too. As it was a rainy day, so we had choosen Sakae Sushi for our breakfast. Grandma also came to Gurney Plaza to meet us. She already had her breakfast, therefore, she took Chee Chee for some window shopping.

While mummy, daddy, Suk Suk and Sen Sen were enjoying their meals, baby Grace was so boring, lying on her stroller and day dreaming. She is still too small to join Chee Chee for a walk. In another one year time, mummy can imagines that Chee Chee will be holding baby Grace's hand and both of them will be busy body walking around the shopping mall. By the time, it will be really great and more fun.

After breakfast, we went home for Chee Chee's lunch and nap. When we reached home, the pool of balls which just newly bought yesterday, was nicely clean and displayed in the dining area. It has attracted Chee Chee's attention until she had no mood to finish her lunch. She was really excited and jumping up and down in the pool with all the colourful balls. Chee Chee was unable to control herself and did not want to go for her afternoon nap. She was very sleepy but she just cannot pull herself out from the pool. Mummy starts to feel regret for buying this set of balls for Chee Chee as Chee Chee is unable to behave and just wants to play in the pool all the time without taking her meal, rest and bath. She is a bit out of control after buying this thing. Mummy is trying hard to find a way to resolve this problem now.... haiz.....

2 May 2009 - Saturday

Saturday morning was the Tumbletot baby gym session for Chee Chee. On this day morning, Chee Chee and mummy overslept. When baby Chloe and auntie Eileen reached Poh Poh's house, we still not yet ready to go. It was so embarrasing to keep them waiting for us. As usual, when we reached the Tumbletots gym class, Chee Chee was so excited and she had a great fun doing all the stretch out. Mummy and Chee Chee had a great exercise together.

After the gym class, daddy came to Poh Poh's house to meet us for breakfast. Poh Poh had prepared a lot of nice food for brunch. After brunch, daddy brought mummy and Chee Chee to a toys shop at the town area. We planned to buy a basket of balls with a pool for Chee Chee to play at home. Last week, Chee Chee went to the games area in Jusco shopping mall and she loves the balls so much. Therefore, on this day, we decided to buy a bag of balls so that Chee Chee can play it at home. After shopping, Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house for lunch and had a nap. Chee Chee woke up at evening. After taking her sweet bath, we went back home.

On this night, we went out for dinner together with grandpa, grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, all Yi Yis, San Yi Chang and Jiu Jiu. San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang just came back from KL. We had our dinner at Coffee Island in Gurney Drive. It was a nice place for dinner, unfortunately, it was raining on this night, therefore, we cannot have the outdoor seats to enjoy the great atmosphere. Anyway, it was still nice to have everyone together for a pleasant dinner. Thanks to San Yi Chang for treating us the dinner. Hope you all may come back to Penang more often.

After dinner, we went to Poh Poh's house for a while. It has been long long time we did not have a great chatting with San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang. All of us gathered at Poh Poh's house and watched the Oldish Singing Competition show together.

1 May 2009 - Trip to Bukit Merah

1 May 2009 was a public holiday in Penang due to Labour Day. Daddy and mummy do not need to go to work on this day. It was a long weekend for us. After discuss, they decided to bring Chee Chee to the mini zoo at Bukit Merah. It has been long long time mummy never go to Bukit Merah. Actually, Bukit Merah is famous on it water theme park but Chee Chee is not ready for the water sports yet. So, zoo is more suitable for us. All of us woke up very early this morning. It was a beautiful day for an outting. Chee Chee had her breakfast and bath, and got herself ready for an adventurous trip. As Grace is not ready for trip to zoo yet, therefore, only daddy and mummy accompanied Chee Chee to zoo on this day. We might bring Grace there when she is bigger.

We departed from home at around 9am and reached Bukit Merah at 10:30am. Daddy and mummy had their Mcdonald drive through big breakfast in the car. When we reached the entrance of the Lake Resort, it was quite crowded but many people actually came here for the water park and not the zoo. After purchased the zoo entrance ticket, we need to walk along the small path around the lake and heading to the mini zoo which located at the other end. It was a nice weather for the walk. Daddy and mummy were enjoying taking some nice shots with Chee Chee. It took us about 15 minutes to reach the entrance of the mini zoo.

When we enter the zoo, it gave us a green and tropical feel of environment. The first impression of the zoo was not as bad as we initially thought. The first animal we saw in the zoo was "chicken". There were some peacock too. It looks like a farm rather than a zoo. After that, we also saw some monkeys, deers and giant fishes. Usually, Chee Chee only saw these animals in her flashcards and books, it was a great opportunity for her to see the real animals. She was quite excited and enjoyed looking at the animals. We had took quite a lot of photos there. After some photos taking, there was an animal show at 11am in a small theather. Daddy and mummy were rushing to the theather for the live show. It was quite an interesting show, such as monkey climb up a coconut tree, parrots playing basketball and etc. Chee Chee had a great fun looking at the animal show.

After the show, we walked to the area with 2 black bears. Chee Chee loves to see bears and kept calling "bear, bear" loudly. After that, we went to the reptiles garden to see some crocodiles, snake and iguana. The iguanas were walking freely on the pedestrian path and some kids were crying there because scared by the iguana which suddenly came out to block their way. Chee Chee was not scare looking at the iguana and she kept waiving goodbye and gave them goodbye kisses.

Besides all these, we also saw some rabbits, hamsters and goats. Overall, it was quite fun and adventurous for Chee Chee. Although it was a bit small and not much animals, but it was something new and interesting for Chee Chee. However, daddy and mummy had some complained on the walking path as it was too narrow and uneven especially for kids with stroller. We spend about 2 hours in the zoo. As we are not hungry at that time, so we decided to go back to Penang for lunch. So, we left the place at 12:30noon. It was a short but interesting trip.

We reached Penang around 2pm. As San Yi Yi and San Yi Chang were back from KL on this day, and was at Poh Poh's house, therefore, after we reached Penang, we went to Poh Poh's house to meet up with San Yi Yi. Chee Chee had a short time playing with San Yi Yi and she took a nap after her lunch. It was a tiring day for Chee Chee. On this night, we stayed at Poh Poh's house and spend our night at home. It was an interesting and happening day for Chee Chee.
