6,7 & 8 December 2008 - Long weekend on Haji Holiday

Hurray, this week is a long weekend. We had been waiting for so long to have more time playing with Siao Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng. But this week was a busy week for mummy and daddy as they had few wedding dinner to be attended. On Friday night, mummy and daddy were attending uncle Tau Wei and auntie Megan's wedding dinner at G Hotel, therefore, Chee Chee had to stay at home with Kakak Kathya. Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma were not at home as well as they had to attend a dinner at Genting with great grandpa and relatives. So actually, it was a busy weekend for everyone, but boring weekend for Chee Chee.

On Saturday morning, as usual, Chee Chee had to attend the baby gym class at Tumbletots. We had a great time playing with other babies at the gym class. After the class, we went back to Poh Poh's house to have breakfast with Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. All of us had a great time together for the whole morning. After lunch, mummy decided to bring Chee Chee back home to rest. As Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning never come to Chee Chee's house before, therefore, they followed us back. We bought some Mcdonald's meals and went back to Chee Chee's house for tea time. We had a great time together at Chee Chee's room. After an hour, we left Chee Chee at home and went to Aspial Bridal shop to meet Yi Yis and Poh Poh as san yi yi need to fit her wedding dress.

At night, Chee Chee stayed at home with kakak Katya because mummy and daddy had to attend uncle Alfred and auntie Jane's wedding dinner.

On Sunday morning, all of us wake up very early as we need to travel to Kuala Lumpur to meet Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma for great grandpa's birthday. This day was a memorable day for Chee Chee as it is Chee Chee's first travellling to Kuala Lumpur. Since newborn, Chee Chee never left Penang. This day was her first time out from home. All of us was very excited. We packed all the things and departed at 9am. Before we started our journey to KL, we attended our muzikgarten class at Lake Plaza first. After the class, we directly heading ourselves to KL. During the journey, Chee Chee was very well behaved and enjoying herself in car. She slept for few hours at her car seat and woke up at 1pm for her lunch in the car.

We reached KL at 2pm. Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma were waiting for us at Ritz Clarton Hotel. After checking in, we went to greet great grandpa happy birthday. As we reached KL quite late, mummy and daddy had their lunch late too. We went to Pavillion shopping mall for lunch and window shopping. It was our first time to this new shopping mall. It is a grand and nice shopping mall.

After some window shopping, we went back to hotel to rest and changed. At night, we had great grandpa birthday dinner at "Overseas Chinese Restaurant". Chee Chee was dressed nicely and we met a lot of relatives at the dinner. It was really nice for Chee Chee to meet all the grand-uncles and grand-aunties. We had taken lots of photos together. It was really a precious together with everyone. Chee Chee wishes great grandpa happy and healthy always!!!

The dinner was great and delicious. Everyone of us was enjoying the food and had a great time chatting. What a coincidence, Kenny's birthday is same as great grandpa as well. Therefore, we had 2 cakes and 2 birthday boys on this night.

After the dinner, we went back to hotel to rest. Ah Ma had booked a service apartment with 2 rooms, dining area, kitchen and etc. It was a big and nice place to stay.

The next day morning, we woke up at 8am. Chee Chee took us about 2 hours to get herself ready. We went to the hotel restaurant for the buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we went to greet great grandpa in his hotel room. We had some precious time together and had our lunch at Pavillion before we leave KL. It was a short but memorable trip. It was really wonderful and Chee Chee loves it so much.

1 December 2008 - Monday

Normally, mummy will not update the blog for activities during weekdays as there are not much interesting matters to share. However, 1 December 2008 which is a Monday is a special day of us. Why? Why? Why? Because today is Gong Gong's birthday and also the arrival day of Siao Yi Yi (Wei Chen), Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng.

Firstly, we would like to wish Gong Gong, Happy Birthday and may all your wishes come true. Chee Chee loves Gong Gong always!!! As today, Gong Gong is not in Penang, therefore, we did not have the birthday celebration. But, today is the arrival day of Siao Yi Yi (Wei Chen), Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng. All of us are very excited and looking forward to meet them. On this day, mummy came back from work earlier. After dinner, all of us went to airport to welcome them. It was such a long time Chee Chee did not meet with Siao Yi Yi (Wei Chen), Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng.

Chee Chee was so excited when she met Siao Yi Yi (Wei Chen), Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng. They also bought Chee Chee lots of presents from Australia and Singapore. Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng will be staying in Penang for a month, so Chee Chee will have plenty of time playing with them. Welcome home everyone !!

28 November 2008 - Friday

This day is a wonderful day for mummy. Mummy would like to write this down here because an amazing thing happened today. On this night, after dinner with everyone, mummy and Chee Chee were packed and would be staying over night at Poh Poh's house. Everyone at Poh Poh's house was so glad that Chee Chee came back this night, so we were playing and chatting at the dining area. At around 10:30pm, san yi yi came back and she came to play with Chee Chee. She throw a question to Chee Chee, " Chee Chee, where is Gong Gong?" Chee Chee reacted immediately and pointed at Gong Gong, and san yi yi followed another question, "Then where is Poh Poh?" Chee Chee turn back and pointed at Poh Poh. San yi yi repeated the same question and asking Chee Chee to point out "Yi Yi, Jiu Jiu and Mummy", Chee Chee responsed to her immediately and accurately. All of us were so shocked and surprised that Chee Chee got it right. This shows that she knows everyone exactly who they are. It is amazing. My baby is no longer a baby, she is a big girl. My big and lovely girl is growing up.

22 & 23 November 2008 - Weekend

Huh, time flies so fast, another weekend again. On this Saturday, Chee Chee was back to her baby gym class. We had skipped 2 lessons as mummy went to Bali and another week was uncle Hun Lin's wedding. So this day, we back to class again. It was great fun playing with the baby friends. Chee Chee loves to climb up and down. She can practise her walking and climbing skills there. You may refer to the photos below, these are what we do in a gym class.

After the class, we went back to Poh Poh's house. On this day, we had an appointment with Dr Jessica for an one year old injection. We were late to hospital today, and there were many patients for Dr Jessica. Therefore, we had waited for 2 hours at GMC. When it was Chee Chee's turn, she was a bit tired and refuse to cooperate with doctor. She cried so loud when took the injection. Mummy and daddy were so nervous and worry about Chee Chee. It was pain but is for Chee Chee's good. After visiting the doctor, we went back home and Chee Chee rest the whole day. At night, Chee Chee did not come out as well because mummy and daddy had to attend a wedding dinner.

On Sunday morning, Chee Chee woke up early and joined her grandpa and grandma for breakfast. There was no music lesson today as teacher Emiline cannot make it. Chee Chee spend the whole day at home playing with daddy.

At night, as grandpa and grandma were having dinner with friends, mummy and daddy decided to bring Chee Chee to Gurney for dinner. We had our dinner at Kim Gary Restaurant. After the dinner, we had some shopping at the new wing and new Parkson. Chee Chee felt so bored sitting in the stroller, so she decided to help daddy to push the stroller herself. It was a great night together.

19 November 2008 - Wednesday

This day, we had an appointment with uncle Hun Lin and uncle Ewe Lin. As uncle Ewe Lin will be back to Melbourne on this coming Saturday, therefore, we would like to meet him before he flies back. We went to their house at 9pm. It was a coincident that this day was grand-uncle's (uncle Hun Lin's father) birthday. We are so proud to have the pleasure to join the birthday party. Happy Birthday to grand-uncle!!!

Chee Chee had a great time at uncle Hun Lin's house. We had a great chat and thanks for the delicious birthday cakes. We hope to visit grand-uncle and grand-aunty more often.

15 & 16 November - Weekend

15 November 2008 was a big big day for uncle Hun Lin, auntie Mindy and also grandma. This day was uncle Hun Lin and auntie Mindy's wedding day. Therefore, there is not much of Chee Chee's photos because Chee Chee was left at home. Besides, this day was grandma's birthday as well. Mummy and daddy were attending uncle Hun Lin's wedding from day to night, so did not have time to celebrate grandma's birthday together. Anyway, congratulations and warmest regards to uncle Hun Lin and auntie Mindy!!!

On 16 November, Sunday morning, Chee Chee had to skip the music class again because daddy and mummy cannot wake up early after attending the wedding. Chee Chee followed grandma to have dim sum breakfast. After the breakfast, Chee Chee came back home for a nap. After lunch, we went to Poh Poh's house and followed them to Kim Poh's house. We met uncle Graham, auntie Anna and auntie Merline. Gu Kong had fried very delicious maggie mee for all of us. It is the best maggie mee ever. We had a great time chatting at Kim Poh's house.

At night, we celebrated grandma's post birthday at CRC restaurant. We met all the aunties and uncles. Chee Chee was well behaved and enjoying her time at the restaurant. Happy Birthday to grandma and Chee Chee loves you always !!!

13 November 2008 - Thursday

Mummy is not working today.... hurray... After the Bali trip, mummy missed Chee Chee so much, therefore, she decided to on leave one more day to accompany Chee Chee. We did not go to anywhere, just stayed at Poh Poh's house and enjoying the time together. We had our breakfast and lunch at Poh Poh's house.




Chee Chee is growing fast but she still not ready to stand and walk yet. She is a bit lazy like her parent, prefer to be carried by people or sit down and relax. But, san yi yi's wedding is coming soon which we hope that Chee Chee can walk by herself and be one of the flower girl. Therefore, we forced her to do some walking exercise in the garden. It is good to do more exercise and built up the legs muscle.

Chee Chee 1st Year Special Album (Limited Edition)

Hurray, mummy and daddy are back to Penang after their 5 days holiday at Bali. Chee Chee missed them so much and of course they missed Chee Chee even more. After the holiday trip, mummy took an additional day off to accompany Chee Chee. There is nothing special happened today. We spend our sweet time at home.

In the afternoon, we went to the Kiddyland Photo shop to collect Chee Chee's photo album. It is so lovely and perfect. Everyone loves the photos so much. Mummy just cannot wait to share the photos with everyone.

1 & 2 November 2008 - Weekend

It was Saturday again. As usual, we woke up early for the Tumbletots gym class. We met auntie Eileen and baby Chloe again. On this day, there was a new baby boy joining the class. It was full of fun and joy. After the class, Chee Chee was sleepy and had a nap before her lunch. We spend our day at Poh Poh's house. In the afternoon, mummy went to the Kiddy Photoshop to choose Chee Chee's photos which took on Wednesday. The photos are so lovely and cute. Mummy and Poh Poh do not know how to select as we want them all. At the end, mummy managed to choose only 60 photos and develop into 2 albums. We can get the albums in 2 weeks time.

At night, we joined Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma for dinner. We went to a restaurant called Perut Rumah Nyonya Cuisine at Kelawei Road. It was our first time to this restaurant. The environment of this restaurant was quite good. This place is a classy nyonya style with some antiques as decoration. The food is good and it is more like home cook recipe. The only problem is they had limited parking spaces. I think we will come back here again, or may be can bring Gong Gong and Poh Poh here as Poh Poh might like the nyonya food here.

On Sunday, we went to Lake Plaza for Muzikgarten again. We had a week break due to Deepavali, Chee Chee missed the class and friends so much. Chee Chee had a great time in the class. This is her favourite class. After the class, Chee Chee went back to have a nap. She spend her whole day at home playing with Ah Ma and Yeh Yeh.

At night, daddy had to attend a wedding dinner, therefore, only mummy, Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma accompanied Chee Chee for dinner, hahaha... i should said Chee Chee accompanied us for dinner because she never eat when we go to any restaurant. Chee Chee had her dinner at home first, then only she joined mummy, Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma to Queensbay Mall for dinner. While we on the way to Queensbay, Chee Chee suddenly passed motion in her diaper. Ah Ma heard the "po po" sound and smelled something weird. It was Chee Chee's first time pass motion in the diaper while travel out. Since born, she was trained to pass motion in the morning once a day. So it is seldom that she will pass motion again in the afternoon. But, there always the first time. Yeh Yeh made a turn back home, so that Chee Chee can get a change and cleanup. After change, we proceed for our dinner at Queensbay Mall. Again, we had our dinner at Paddington Pancake. It was our favourite food and place in Queensbay Mall. After the dinner, mummy and Ah Ma did some shopping and Chee Chee spend her time with Yeh Yeh. After an hour, we met at the restaurant again. Yeh Yeh was complaining about his back pain because of carrying Chee Chee for an hour. Chee Chee is now 10kg weigh. It is very tiring to carry her for long hours. Sorry ya Yeh Yeh, hope Chee Chee can walk by herself soon and no need to be carry here and there.
