Selamat Hari Raya

Hurray, mummy, daddy, grandpa, grandma.... and everybody was having 2 days holiday to celebrate Hari Raya. So everybody would have more times to spend with Chee Chee for these 2 days. On the first day of Hari Raya, mummy and daddy woke up early, so we went to Chuan Chew Restaurant to have a heavy and delicious breakfast. As all of us were busy eating, so mummy had fogotten to take some photos for Chee Chee.

In the afternoon, mummy went out and left Chee Chee at home. Chee Chee spend her afternoon resting at home. At night, we decided to go to Queensbay Mall for dinner. When we got to Sakae Sushi, it was crowded and long queue to get in the restaurant. We were not patient enough to wait, therefore, we decided to go to TGIF. We had a great dinner. After dinner, we did some window shopping and we left Queensbay Mall at 9:30pm.

When we reached home after dinner, daddy decided to go out with his friends, therefore, he sent mummy and Chee Chee to Poh Poh's house to stay over night.

On the second day of Hari Raya, we woke up early as well and we went to Gurney Drive for Liang Liang Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. Mummy forgot to take the photo there as well because she was so excited eating the delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we went back to Poh Poh's house. Chee Chee had asleep and woke up at 12noon for her lunch. While she having her lunch, 5th uncle came to visit Poh Poh together with Wei Qing. Wei Qing is growing bigger and prettier now.

At night, we went to Gurney Hotel Japanese Restaurant for dinner. It was our first time to this restaurant. The food was not bad here and the price was reasonable as well.

28 Sep 2008 - Sunday

As Chee Chee's Saturday music class was cancelled due to not enough babies, so we had changed the class to Sunday. But the class was not in Prima Tanjung anymore, it is at the Lake Plaza in Bukit Jambul. Our class started at 9:30am on Sunday, so we need to wake up very early. However, it was a great place as the building is new and with very nice lake view. We hope that teacher Emaline can form a new class in Prima Tanjung, so that we no need to wake up early on every Sunday morning.

27 Sep 2008 - Saturday

There was nothing much happened on this Saturday. Initially, mummy's friend, auntie Soo Sun planned to take photo for Chee Chee at Poh Poh's house, but due to personal reason, auntie Soo Sun cannot make it. Anyway, thanks so much to auntie Soo Sun for offering, we can arrange it some other time.

On this night, mummy decided to bring Chee Chee out for dinner with daddy's friends. It was such a long time Chee Chee did not meet up with all the aunties and uncles. We had our dinner at Mizzi Bistro in New World Park. It was a great diner together. We left the place at around 10pm.

21 Sep 2008 - Sunday

It was another lovely Sunday. On this day, we did not do anything special. As usual, Chee Chee followed her grandparents to Island Plaza for dim sum breakfast. After the breakfast, we went to Poh Poh's house for the whole afternoon. There is nothing special that worth mentioned here. Mummy just like to share some of Chee Chee's photos which we took during our dinner at ChokDeeThai. As Chee Chee was wearing one of the shirt that bought by Ah Ma from Singapore as well.

When Ah Ma came back from Singapore, she had brought back a lot of clothes and biscuits for Chee Chee. Besides all the new dresses, Da Yi Yi also passed to her a flower girl dress which wore by Zi Ning during mummy's wedding 3 years back. The dress was a bit too big for Chee Chee now but it still looks very lovely when Chee Chee wear it. I don't think Chee Chee can wear this during San Yi Yi's wedding, but may be we can keep it for Si Yi Yi's wedding.

18 Sep 2008 - Mummy's birthday

This is Chee Chee's first time celebrating mummy's birthday. It is very meaningful to mummy. So, on this day, mummy had a long list of schedule to celebrate mummy's big day with Chee Chee and daddy. On this day, mummy and daddy were on leave. All of us woke up early in the morning and had dressed nicely. Chee Chee was wearing the beauty dress bought by Ah Ma from Singapore. Ah Ma had bought Chee Chee lots of nice dresses and shirts when she visit great grandfather in Singapore few days ago. Thank you so much to Ah Ma. Besides that, we would like to thank Da Yi Yi as she also had bought a lot of nice dresses and delicious biscuits for Chee Chee and had passed them to Ah Ma when she was at Singapore. Thanks to everyone for loving Chee Chee so much......

On mummy's birthday morning, Chee Chee, mummy and daddy went to Park Royal Hotel for breakfast. We spend a great time walking at the beach and poolside. We had taken lots of photos together. Chee Chee was having fun as well as mummy and daddy. After the photo taking session and our lovely breakfast, we left the hotel at around 12noon.

In the afternoon, we spend our day at Poh Poh's house. We had a great mee suan lunch together. It was a great birthday for mummy.

14 Sep 2008 - Mooncake Festival

14 Sep 2008 was Mooncake Festival. It was Chee Chee's first time to celebrate this special day. Chee Chee got a few lantern from Poh Poh and Ah Ma. Poh Poh had bought Chee Chee and tranditional lantern and Ah Ma had bought Chee Chee as electronics Donald duck lantern. Chee Chee will carry these 2 lanterns on this night.

As mummy's chinese lunar calendar birthday was the day after Mooncake Festival, it is our usual trend to celebrate it on Mooncake Festival. So on this night, all of us went out for dinner at CRC to celebrate mummy's lunar birthday. Mummy is very touch and happy to have everyone, especially Chee Chee to celebrate with her.

After the dinner, all of us went to Poh Poh's house to carry lantern and have a mini celebration for Mooncake Festival. Uncle Woon Cit and Auntie Siao Wei joined us as well for the celebration. Besides that, we also contact ta yi yi, Chuan Zheng, Zining and siao Yi Yi via skype online. We had a great chat and gathering together. Unfortunately, Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma cannot join us because Ah Ma was not in Penang as great grandfather was having his heart operation at Singapore. Great grandfather, Chee Chee wishes you get well soon and healthy forever.

13 Sep 2008 - Chee Chee's uncle's wedding day

13 Sep 2008 was a big day for Chee Chee's uncle (daddy's cousin). It was Chee Chee's big day as well as it was Chee Chee's first time to attend a wedding ceremony. On this day, Chee Chee woke up early and got herself showered and dressed. All of us depart from house at 10:30am to uncle's house for the wedding tea ceremony. Chee Chee was very excited and happy because we were expecting an ang pao.

When we got there, the bride and groom were not there yet. So we took a lot of photos with our relatives and cousin. It was Chee Chee's first time to meet cousin Choo Yun (Uncle Woon Gee's daugther). She is very lovely and adorable. Chee Chee had a great time playing with her. After waiting for an hour, the bride and groom still not yet arrive. Grandfather was a little unpatient, grandmother had lots of matters pending to settle and Chee Chee was sleepy and hungry. So, at the end, we decided to leave without meeting the bride and groom. What a pity......

We reached home at 1:30pm and Chee Chee had her lunch at Poh Poh's house. While we were having lunch, uncle Wei Long came to Poh Poh's house to give her some mooncake. So he also spend some times playing with Chee Chee. After the lunch, we were heading home to meet Uncle Woon Cit and Auntie Siao Wei who just came back from Medan.

At 4pm, we went to Musikgarten for our music class as usual. It was our last lesson and there will be no class in the short term as there is no baby to join Chee Chee for the class. Rachel and Chloe will move to toddlers class from next week onwards. "My dearest Chee Chee, mummy will try her best to ask around and see whether we can find any new friends to join us or not...." Hope we can form a new class soon.

At night, all of us need to attend the wedding dinner. As we did not meet the bride and groom in the morning, so we are going to meet them at the dinner. It was Chee Chee's great experience to attend the wedding dinner. It was crowded and happening. Chee Chee was very curious and exciting through out the night. On this night, she also met another baby cousin and we took some photos together. We also took a lot of photos with our relatives on this night. It was a great night. Oh one more thing to add, Chee Chee had learned a new thing on this night which is "yam seng".

7 Sep 2008 - Sunday

This Sunday was a very happening day for Chee Chee. All of us woke up early and got dressed up nicely by 10pm. Daddy brought mummy and Chee Chee to McDonalds for breakfast. This was Chee Chee's first time to Mcdonalds. She was very excited because there were lots of kids playing around. Mummy and daddy were enjoying their big breakfast, and Chee Chee was enjoying looking the place. It was fun and we should come here more often.

After our breakfast, we proceed our journey to Poh Poh's house. As the Mooncake Festival is around the corner, so mummy and daddy need to give Poh Poh some gifts and mooncake. We had some very nice mooncake and hope that all of us may eat it together on lunar calendar August,15.

While we having great time playing at Poh Poh's house, 5th uncle and his family came to visit Poh Poh. Chee Chee was so happy to meet Wei Qing again. Wei Qing is now 4 months old and she is Chee Chee's auntie although she is younger than Chee Chee. All of us were having a great time playing together.



Wei Qing and her parents went back at 2pm. As Chee Chee has nothing to do in the afternoon, so mummy decided to go to visit Ah Kim and Ah Gu. Si Yi Yi and Poh Poh also went there with us. As Alfred's parents were not in Penang as well as Ivan (the baby boy that Ah Kim baby sitting), so there were so happening at Ah Kim's house with 3 little babies. Chee Chee was very excited to see kids and babies. She really had lots of fun this day and playing with many many babies. Besides Chee Chee, mummy also had a great time at Ah Kim's house because Ah Gu had fried the most delicious maggi noodles for all of us. It was a great day for everyone.

6 Sep 2008 - Saturday

Mummy and Chee Chee went to Poh Poh's house to stay overnight this weekend as Gong Gong was not in Penang. It was a rainy weekend. So most fo the time, we were staying at home. On this Saturday morning, mummy woke up early and she helped Poh Poh to fried mee hoon for breakfast. The mee hoon was quite delicious although a bit dry. After we had our breakfast, all of us together went to Prangin Mall as there is a newly opened baby shop, called RaineBabyHouse. Mummy bought a new romper for Wei Qing and new milk bottles for Chee Chee. Besides that, Poh Poh also bought swimming costumes for Chee Chee and Zi Ning and Si Yi Yi bought Chee Chee 2 lovely toys, a bear and a powerpuff girl. All of us had a great shopping there.

On this day, it was raining heavily through out the day. Some of the places in Penang was flood. As daddy went to Butterworth to meet his friends and it will be very troublesome for mummy to bring Chee Chee to Music class alone in a raining day, so we decided to skip the class.
