29 August 2008 - Chee Chee is 10 months old now

Chee Chee is 10 months old now. The above photo was taken on Merdeka Day while we had our lunch at Poh Poh's house with Si Yi Yi. Chee Chee looks like a doll with the long hair. She is so so so cute....

Now, Chee Chee has learn a lot recently and has improved in her motion skills. She can crawl very fast and hold and stand. When she reach a wall or door or baby cot, she can hold on something and balance herself and stand up. When she feels tired, then she will know how to balance herself and sit down. She really makes me proud of her. Besides standing, now she also can listen to instruction and act what i told her, such as claps hands, waves goodbye, kiss bye, give five and shake hands. I am so proud of her and keep on the good work, Chee Chee.

Chee Chee has her own passport

25 August 2008, Monday. On this day, mummy had on annual leave to accompany Chee Chee. As Chee Chee is big enough for some travelling soon, so mummy had decided to bring Chee Chee to make her own passport. On this day, all of us woke up early. Daddy, mummy and I went to custom department in the morning to do the passport. We had took a passport photo in the photo shop and the passport was done by 2:30pm. We are glad that nowsaday, the government department has improved and are more efficient compared to past time. We are able to get the passport within the same day we do it. So Chee Chee can fly to anywhere she wants now, of course with mummy and daddy along.

23 Aug 2008 - Saturday

It has been long long long time mummy did not update Chee Chee's blog. At first, the reason she did not update the blog was due to she went to Hong Kong for holidays but she was back to Penang on 17 Aug 2008. So now, the reason she did not update the blog was "LAZY". After enjoying herself at Hong Kong and left Chee Chee and daddy at home, she still don't want to spare some times to update the blog. So there are several back dated blog to be update later.

First of all, let us recall something happened on 23 Aug 2008 which was a Saturday. On this day, we went to Poh Poh's house in the morning and had our breakfast and lunch there. We went back our house by 3pm and had Chee Chee dressed for the music lesson. Previous week, Chee Chee had missed the music class because mummy went to Hong Kong and daddy had an appointment with friends. So Chee Chee was looking forward for this day music class.

We went to Kindergarten earlier. But, when we got there, the door of Kindergarten was locked and no one answer the bell. We were unable to contact teacher Emilline. After 10 minutes standing outside the school, we had nothing to do but taking photos outside the school. The above photos were took while we pressing the door bell and waiting for response. After awhile, we left the place. As Chee Chee was dressed nicely on this day, it was a waste to go home directly, therefore, we decided to go to Gurney Plaza for some window shopping. We spend about 1 hour there. It was nice and relax shopping.

10 August 2008 - Sunday

Su Su and Sen Sen would be going back to Medan on this day. Therefore, mummy and daddy woke up early to have dim sum breakfast with them. Chee Chee woke up at 9am and she quickily took a bath and had her milk breakfast before we move to go to Island Plaza for dim sum.

On this morning, Ah Ma had choosen a lovely dress and cap for Chee Chee. Chee Chee looks pretty with a flowery cap and skirt. She seldom wear like this, therefore, mummy took quite a number of photos for Chee Chee.

After the breakfast, Su Su and Sen Sen were ready to go to airport. They will be back to Penang again next month. Yeh Yeh and Ah Ma fetched them to airport, so Chee Chee had nothing to do at home. Therefore, we decided to go to Poh Poh's house for a swim. At 12 noon, we went to Poh Poh's house for Chee Chee's lunch. After her lunch, Chee Chee was changed on her lovely swimming costume and ready for a swim. It was a hot and sunny afternoon, therefore, it was great to swim at such weather.

After swim, Chee Chee was very tired and very soon she fall asleep. Mummy was having tea and chat with Poh Poh and Yi Yi while Chee Chee was sleeping. At 5pm, Chee Chee just woke up. Daddy and Ah Ma also came to fecth us back. As it was a waste to throw away the water in the swimming pool, before we go home, Chee Chee had another swim again. But this time, may be the water was a bit cold or may be Chee Chee was not in a good mood for another swim, she wanted to come out from the water very soon. After changed, all of us went home to get some rest before dinner.

During dinner time, we went to Gurney Plaza and had our dinner at Manilla Place. It was a romantic and nice place for dinner. Chee Chee was enjoying the environment there and tasting her new junk food. It was Chee Chee's first time to try on this biscuit junk food and loves it so much.

After the dinner, we had a walk at Gurney Plaza and daddy planned to buy some books at MPH bookshop. While we were walking, we met Si Yi Yi, Gong Gong and Poh Poh. They also did their shopping there and almost time to heading home. It was a coincident and we took some photos together.

9 August 2008 - Saturday

Mummy and Chee Chee were staying over night at Poh Poh's house on Friday night because we were watching the Olympics opening together. Both of us woke up late in the Saturday morning. When we woke up, Poh Poh already came back from the Pulau Tikus market and she had bought us some delicious breakfast and a toy for Chee Chee. While mummy was having her breakfast, Chee Chee was busy playing with her new toy. Besides that, this day was Siao Yi Yi's birthday, although she was in Melbourne, but mummy, yi yi and Poh Poh did gave her a call and sang a birthday song for her through handphone. Siao Yi Yi, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU !!!!

We spend our whole morning and afternoon at Poh Poh's house. At 4pm, we departed from Poh Poh's house for our muzikgarten class. As usual, Chee Chee was having a great time having fun in the class. Chee Chee might miss next week lesson as mummy will be going to Hong Kong on this coming Wednesday and will only be back on Sunday.

After the class, we went back home to have a rest and bath. By 7pm, Chee Chee was dressed nicely and waited for everyone to depart for dinner at Ryoma Japanese Restaurant. Su Su and Sen Sen love the Japanese food at Ryoma as well and all of us had a great time together.

8 August 2008 - 080808 Beijing Olympics

080808 was a special day for everyone, especially for China. As everybody knows, today is 2008 Olympics grand opening at Beijing. So everybody was rushing back home after work, to get ready for the opening ceremony. Mummy left her office at 5:30pm sharp and went to Poh Poh's house to pick up Chee Chee. We went back home and had the dinner at home earlier with Su Su and Sen Sen. All of us was seated at Ah Ma's room and watched the opening together. It was a great and grand opening. All of us is impressed and proud for China - 北京欢迎你！！！

While we were watching the opening, around 8:30pm, Ah Ma received a call from Gong Gong and we only realized that Gong Gong they all missed the opening because they had some problem with the Astro set up. Mummy was very worried and nervous, therefore, we quickily took the memory card from mummy's room and brought it over to Gong Gong. Unfortunately, the memory card does not work as well because Gong Gong did not download the Olympics channels. Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu were very upset because they had missed the wonderful part of the opening. After Jiu Jiu checked with his friends, only we realized that it was so simple to download the channel, but it was 11pm at that time. However, it never too late also, all of us watched the replay opening at 12mid nite again.

7 August 2008 - Thursday

Normally, mummy only updates those events that happened on weekend, but why was she updating 7 August 2008 which is a Thursday??? Because Su Su and Sen Sen came back from Medan on this day. When Su Su and Sen Sen came back, for sure, we would did something different and some thing special.

On this night, we had dinner at home because Su Su bought us some very delicious noodles from Medan. After mummy and daddy had their dinner, all of us, including Yeh Yeh, Ah Ma, Su Su, Sen Sen, mummy and daddy, went to New World Park for a drink. While we reached New World Park, we heard very loud music and there were some performance on the stage. As it was 7th month in Chinese Lunar calendar now, it is the trandition to have such performance in this month. Chee Chee was very curious and very excited to watch the show. After watching the show for 15 minutes, all of us went to Starbucks for a drink and chat.

It was a lovely family gathering. At around 9:30pm, Chee Chee started to feel sleepy, so all of us were heading home.

2 August 2008 - Saturday

As usual, we normally will spend our Saturday morning at Poh Poh's house, it was the same for this day. Mummy woke up early and followed Poh Poh to Pulau Tikus market. She bought a lot of foods this day because we would have visitors in the afternoon. Kim Poh, Gu Gong, Chun Beng Ah Gu and family would come to Poh Poh's house at 12noon. All of us were dressed and got ready before lunch time for their visit. However, before they all came, mummy had an appointment with auntie Hooi Hooi. We planned to bring Chee Chee to visit auntie Hooi Hooi's son but it clashed with Chee Chee's lunch hour. So Chee Chee had to stay at home and mummy went out with auntie Hooi Hooi herself. We sure have other chance for Chee Chee to meet up auntie Hooi Hooi's son because he is just staying at the childcare behind Poh Poh's house. Auntie Hooi Hooi's son is only 2+ months old and he is very chubby and handsome.

Mummy came back at 1:30pm. Kim Poh, Gu Gong, Chun Beng Ah Gu and family were already at Poh Poh's house for an hour. We had a great time playing and taking photos with Alfred. Alfred is 3 months old now and he is very handsome with a sparkling eyes. At 4pm, Alfred joined Chee Chee for the MuzikGarten class. We went together and let Alfred experienced the lesson, but I think Alfred still not so ready yet. He might need to wait for few more months then only can know how to enjoy the class. Anyway, it was a great time together.

After spending whole day playing with Alfred, Chee Chee was very tired and sleepy. At night, Chee Chee stayed at home with Kakak Katya and rest at home.
