Saturday events (12 April 2008)

Saturday is a music day for Chee Chee. Last week we had skipped our first lesson as Chee Chee took her 3rd dose injection and rest at home the whole day. So this Saturday, we were back to SCHOOL......

This day was considered a first proper paid lesson for Chee Chee. Chee Chee's grandmother followed us to the class as well. It was a great lesson and Chee Chee enjoyed it very much, so as grandmother. Teacher Emmeline praised that Chee Chee is a happy baby and keep smiling all the time. Mummy really feel grateful that we found this music class for Chee Chee. Besides mummy and grandma, daddy also enjoyed and had a great time dancing with Chee Chee. It is a great interact class for the whole family.

As uncle Woon Cit and auntie Wei were back in Penang, so we had dinner together at Dragon Inn, Queensbay Mall. Chee Chee was able to sit on the baby high chair supported by the bloster herself. It was a heavy dinner again and everyone had a great time together.

Back dated blog - A lovely but unforgettable Sunday

Actually last Sunday (6 April 2008), Chee Chee did a lot of outting and mummy wish to update her blog on that nite, but unfortunately, on this night, Chee Chee's great grandmother passed away at 8:15pm in Adventist Hospital.

On this lovely Sunday morning, Chee Chee joined her grandparents and parents to Old Town in New World for breakfast. We ordered a lot of foods and had a great time walking around the place. There is a mini water fountain and we took a few photos there. The atmosphere was great and kids running around with cheers.

We did not do much in the afternoon except for sleeping and relaxing at home. At dinner time, we went to Queensbay Mall. We had a great and heavy dinner at Paddington Pancake house. It was really nice and Chee Chee even ordered a huge meal for herself. You don't believe that, please see the photos below.

After the dinner, we did some shopping. During this time, grandmother received a call from Adventist Hospital and told us that great grandmother was critically ill and might need us to go to hospital immediately. At the very urgent moment, mummy still unaware and shopping at the toy shop. When we were on way back, we received the call from hospital saying that great grandmother had passed away and left us forever. 曾祖母，请安息吧！

Chee Chee's 5th month birthday celebration !!!

29 March 2008 was Chee Chee's 5th month birthday. I believe when you all read this post, most of the people will scold me,"Siao mother, where got baby celebrates birthday every month one !!!" But Chee Chee does, hahaha......








Although we do not have cake today, we do not blow candles today, but we did something special today. We went to SCHOOL !!! Chee Chee started her school life when she turned to 5 month old. It is a very interesting and fun class. Mummy, daddy and Chee Chee were enjoying themselves in the class. We have 3 students in the class: Martin (7 month old baby boy), Vivian (13 month old baby girl) and Chee Chee. Our teacher's name is Emmeline Teo and the school name is Jingle Kids Music Studio. There is no photo on this music school as mummy forgot to bring camera along. We may take some photos in our next visit.

Happening day for Chee Chee

Today is considered a happening day for Chee Chee. She woke up at 7am this morning and joined her grandparent to Giant Supermarket in the morning. After the shopping, she came back and took a shower. Then, we went to City Bayview for Japanese Buffet brunch. San yi yi, san yi chang and si yi yi also joined us for the brunch. We took some photos together.





After brunch, we went back and Chee Chee had a nice sleep in the afternoon. She woke up at 5:00pm and shower again. After that, we went to Gurney Plaza for dinner. It was a lovely dinner and we did some window shopping at Gurney Plaza. After the shopping, we came back to our home sweet home. Chee Chee was still very active and not sleepy at all. She wanted to watch some movie. Mummy thought any movie is fine for her, so we decided to watch a cantonese series. But just after a few minutes, Chee Chee felt boring and unable to concentrate on the show. Mummy only realized that Chee Chee only wants her cartoon movie and not other. So we watched "Bee Movie" again, which we actually just watched it the day before. Chee Chee loves the movie and the bee very much.

Tze Chee has two new cars - one Toyota Vios and one Mercedes Benz

It has been such a long long time mummy did not update Chee Chee's blog. I have received a few complaints saying that my blog is outdated for nearly a month. Mummy is busy ma....... aiyo.....

So, let me recall some interesting things that happened these few weeks. First of all, this month, Chee Chee just got her driving licence. In the morning, she will drive her Mercedes Benz to the garden for morning walk. In the afternoon, she will drive her Toyota Vios to popo's house, hahahaha.... her baby walker lah...... She loves her baby walkers very much. The Mercedes Benz is an automatic car, Chee Chee no need to use her legs, just sit back and relax, her grandmother or kakak Katya will push her round the world. But the Toyota Vios is a manual car, she need to use her legs to push, and she always go backwards only. She still doens't know how to drive forward, hahahaha......... very funny.....
















Last week, mummy went to Germany for business trip. Daddy had to take care of Chee Chee at night. However, Chee Chee was quite co-operative. She did not give much headache to her Daddy at night. After a week, mummy came back. Chee Chee looks different and bigger compared to the week before. Baby really grows fast. We must appreciate every single moment during her growing age. If we missed it, there is never reversal.

There were few things happened this week as well. Firstly is san yi yi's marriage registration ceremony. Chee Chee attended the ceremony as well, but fall asleep half way, hehehe.....












Besides that, tai yi ma and Zi Ning were back to Penang this week. They were playing with Chee Chee everyday and Zi Ning also told Chee Chee the ginger bread man story. They just went back to Singapore yesterday.

Chee Chee's 4th month birthday celebration !!!

Today is Chee Chee 4th month birthday. Mummy and daddy are on leave today to celebrate it for Chee Chee. Initially Chee Chee has to go to hospital for her 2nd dose injection, but she was having dierrhea few days ago, so Doctor Jessica advised us to postpone the injection. So today is purely celebrating Chee Chee's 4th month birthday. Early in the morning, Poh Poh and Jiu Jiu went to market and bought a lot of foods for today celebration and praying ceremony. According to the old old trandition, on the 4th month birthday, the baby has to wear a bally biscuits necklace and eat a drumstick after praying. So, just to have fun, we had followed this old old traditional way to celebrate Chee Chee's 4th month birthday.

After taking bath in the morning, Chee Chee was dressed nicely. Poh Poh had prepared all the praying stuffs and we started the ceremony at 11am.

After the praying, Chee Chee has to wear the bally biscuits necklace and eat a chicken drumstick. Old people believe that after eating the biscuits and drumstick, it will prevent dribble from her mouth. So we really hope that after this, Chee Chee may stop ejecting saliva. But of course, Chee Chee will not really eat the food, so actually are mummy and daddy that finished the biscuits and drumstick...hehehe......


After the ceremony, Chee Chee had a short nap. When she woke up at 1pm, we decided to visit some of her baby friends at Kim Poh's house (My mother's eldest brother). Currently, Ah Kim is taking care of 3 little kids by herself. She is very capable and a professional baby sitter. She is able to handle 3 babies, and of course with my uncle's help.


After visiting Chee Chee's baby friends, we went home at around 4pm. Before taking shower, we had taken a few photos of Chee Chee which posted like mummy and daddy during their baby time. You may compare the baby photos below, and do you think Chee Chee looks more like mummy or daddy? Can you guess which one is mummy, which one is daddy and which one is Chee Chee? hahahaha......

10th Day of Chinese New Year 2008

It was the 10th day of Chinese New Year. There was nothing special we did today. Poh Poh and Gong Gong went to Genting over the weekend. Therefore, we stayed at home the whole day.

During lunch time today, mummy and daddy went to Gurney Plaza and bought Chee Chee a new chair. It is called Bumbo chair. This chair is suitable for baby above 3 months and able to support their head. When Chee Chee sat on the chair, she was so excited and happy.

8th Day of Chinese New Year 2008

This day, everybody was very excited to celebrate "Pai Ti Kong". Before "Pai Ti Kong", we all went to City Bayview Japanese Restaurant to celebrate grandfather's birthday. It was a lovely restaurant and we got a private room for ourselves. Grandfather was having a great time as the place was peace and nice. Happy Birthday ya Ah Gong !!!

After the dinner at City Bayview, we went back to "Pai Ti Kong" until midnight.

5th Day of Chinese New Year 2008

5th day of Chinese New Year - mummy still did not go back to work as she took extra one day leave. This day, we met up with our baby friend, Joshua at Dome in Gurney Plaza. Joshua's mummy is mummy's old friend (Aunty Celine). They knew each other since high school. We dated Joshua at 2pm for tea. Joshua is about 10 days younger than Chee Chee. He is very handsome and cute. Hope we may meet up with Joshua again in Singapore.

4th Day of Chinese New Year 2008

This day was the last day ta yi ma, cousin sister and brother staying in Penang. We went to Poh Poh's house early in the morning and had breakfast with them at home. After breakfast, poh poh showered for Chee Chee and Siao Yee Yee showered for Zi Ning. Both of them were playing water in the bath room happily. Ta Yi Ma, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng took the 7pm flight back to Singapore on this day.

3rd Day of Chinese New Year

This day was also a happening day. Everyone woke up early in the morning and went to Northam Hotel for dim sum breakfast. Chee Chee was dressed nicely and enjoyed the scenery at the hotel.

After the lovely breakfast, Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house and stayed at home with Kakak Kahya. The rest of us went to Goldenscreen Cinema for the movie - CJ7. It was a funny and touching movie. If Chee Chee is 3 years old now, then I will definitely bring her for the movie.

On this night, we had a proper reunion dinner at CRC. As the restaurant was very crowded, therefore, Chee Chee did not joined us for the dinner.
