27 October 2010 – Photo shooting session

As a birthday present, mummy had signed up and studio photo shooting session at Kuang Yee for Chee Chee. It was a RM399 package which includes 20 photos album, 1 framed photo, clothes and make up. We had made the appointment to have the studio photo shooting on this day. It would took Chee Chee’s single portrait and few family photos.

The photos shooting session was at 6pm. Mummy came to pick up Chee Chee from Poh Poh’s house after work. Poh Poh and Kakak Ari joined us to the studio as well. As we were unable to pick any nice clothes from the shop, so we decided to wear our own clothes for the shooting. Firstly, Chee Chee wore the ballet costume bought by Ta Yi Yi, she loves that costume very much. But as she was a bit shy and scare, so she did not post and smile much when taking the photos. After that, we changed to the Cheong Sam dress which also given by Ta Yi Yi. Chee Chee was still not really comfortable and her smile also not very natural. On her last dress, Chee Chee started to know the photographer better and feel more comfortable, she started made some funny faces and kept laughing. By that time, daddy also reached the studio and we also snapped some family photos together.

The whole photo shooting session took us about 2 hour and we left the studio at 7:45pm. It was pretty fast. After a month, only we managed to get the photo album.

26 October 2010 – Chee Chee’s Chinese Lunar Calendar Birthday

This day was Chee Chee’s Chinese Lunar Calendar Birthday. So it was her 4 year old Chinese Luar Calendar Birthday. On this morning, 3 of us woke up very early because we need to bring Chee Chee to a temple for praying before she goes to school. After bath, Chee Chee dressed up nicely and prayed at home first. After that, we went to Pak Yee Thong Temple for more praying. It is our tradition to bring Chee Chee to this temple for praying on her birthday and also during Chinese New Year.

After praying ceremony, we went back home for breakfast together. God grandma had prepared mee sua and red hard boiled eggs for Chee Chee. Everyone of us had our breakfast at home together. After breakfast, Chee Chee went to her school and mummy and daddy proceed their day to work.

At night, Grandpa and Grandma bought a lovely cake for Chee Chee to celebrate her Chinese Lunar Calendar Birthday. It is Chee Chee’s favourite session, sing birthday song, blow candles and cake cutting. Mummy had bought a little present – Dora story books for Chee Chee.

All of us gathered at the dining area and ate the cake together. We also took some nice photos. It was real fun.

25 October 2010 - Happy 5th Year Anniversary

This day was daddy and mummy 5th years anniversary. Five years ago on this day, they signed their marriage certificate and committed to be together, and they made it for 5 years now. So it is a good reason for celebration.

On this night, 3 of us decided to go to "The Ship" restaurant at Batu Ferringhi for dinner. On past few days, as we went to Park Royal for wedding dinner, and passed by "The Ship", Chee Chee said she wants to go to the Captain Hook's ship and she can meet Peter Pan there. So to make it this day more special, we decided to go to Captain Hook's ship for dinner. Surprisingly, the meal and environment in "The Ship" are great and it is a right choice to come here on this night. Chee Chee was happy walking around the restaurant, but she asked mummy, "Mum, why the ship is not moving one?"

24 October 2010 - Sunday

It was a lovely Sunday. All of us woke up around 10am and took a warm shower, properly dressed up for breakfast. Daddy and mummy decided to bring Chee Chee to Gurney for breakfast and we had Kim Gary for our breakfast. We love Kim Gary very much.

After our breakfast, we had some window shopping and Chee Chee requested to go to the playing area for a hide. She enjoyed herself playing there.

We went back home and have a quick nap. Suk Suk and Sen Sen woke all of us up at 4:30pm for a swim. Grandma also would like to join us to swimming as well. Grace and Chee Chee were very excited and both of them had a great outting together and enjoyed the sunny day swim.

23 October 2010 - Auntie Pin Yan's wedding dinner

On this Saturday night, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee were invited to Auntie Pin Yan's wedding dinner. Chee Chee were dressed nicely tonight for the dinner. Initially, she planned to wear the flower girl dress, but it has been too long never wear and she found it uncomfort, therefore, we decided to wear something nice and comfortable.

We reached the wedding ball at ParkRoyal Hotel by 7:45pm as it was traffic jam. We wished the lovely couple and took some photos with all the aunties and uncles. Auntie Pin Yan is very gorgeous on this night. It is a wonderful wedding dinner and it is a great time for all the friends to get together. Congratulations to Auntie Pin Yan and Uncle Andrew!!!

20 October 2010 - Wednesday

On this night, after mummy back from work, she immediately went back to fetch Chee Chee out for dinner. As on this night, we had dated mummy's friends and their babies for dinner at Egate Noodle Station Restaurant.

We reached the restaurant at about 7:30pm. Auntie Jane, Uncle Alfred and baby Yu Chuan were there ordering their dinner. Chee Chee greeted everyone and sat down together with mummy. After awhile Auntie Ean, Xue Khai, Auntie Seow Wei and Auntie Siow Wei were arrived too.

All of us enjoyed chatting and taking photos together rather than enjoying the meals. Chee Chee was having a great time meeting Yu Chuan and Xue Khai on this night. After the dinner, we went back home at around 10pm. It was a great gathering with all the friends.

16 - 18 October 2010 - Long weekend at Medan

It has been long long time we never go back to Medan to visit Great Grandpa already. Therefore, Grandmother decided to go back Medan on this weekend. Since mummy and daddy were free, we went back to Medan together with Grandma.

On Saturday morning, Chee Chee woke up early easily as she was looking forward for the trip. We all got ourselves ready and headed to the airport. Chee Chee loves to take aeroplane very much. She was pulling her own hand-carry and got everything scanned by herself. She was so excited and had a great time. At around noon time, we reached Medan and met Great Grandpa and everyone at home. Chee Chee, mummy and daddy took a bath and had our lunch together at the dining area. Kim Poh was so kind that she had prepared porridge for Chee Chee as her lunch. Chee Chee was enjoying herself at home and she named the house as Great Grandpa's castle.

After lunch, we followed Grandma and Kim Poh to a shopping mall. As Chee Chee was quite tired at this hour, so she felt asleep in mummy's arms nearly 2 hours. At night, we had our dinner together with Great Grandpa, Kim Poh, 6th Great Granduncle, 6th Great Grandauntie, Grandauntie Sujeni, Granduncle Siwi, Uncle Kenny, mummy, daddy and Chee Chee. It was a very nice and wonderful dinner together. All of us had a great time.

On Sunday morning, we woke up early and had our breakfast at home. After the breakfast, we went to pray Great Grandma.After the praying, we met Great Grandpa, Gu Gong, Kim Poh, Uncle Kenny for lunch. Chee Chee enjoyed the meal very much.

On this night, we had our dinner together with Gu Gong, Kim Poh, Grandauntie Sujeni, Granduncle Siwi. It was a chinese restaurant called "Duck King". The food was delicious and all of us had a great gathering together.

On Monday morning, after took our breakfast, we had to get ourselves ready to fly back Penang. It was a short but pleasant trip. All of us had a very great moment in Medan and of course, Chee Chee hopes to come back again soon.

10 Oct 2010 - Pre-Happy Birthday to San Yi Yi !!!

On this Sunday, San Yi Chang and San Yi Yi were back to Penang. As San Yi Yi's birthday would be on 12 October and she would not be in Penang with us on her birthday, so we decided to have a Pre-Birthday Party on Sunday morning.

On this day morning, all of us went to the Chinese Restaurant at Equatorial Hotel for dim sum breakfast. We seldom come to this restaurant as it was quite far from home. But it was near to San Yi Chang's house. Therefore, we decided to have a try.

Gong Gong, Poh Poh, San Yi Chang, San Yi Yi, Auntie Four, Uncle Four, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu were there earlier. Mummy, daddy and Chee Chee were slightly late. We had ordered a lot of dim sum and enjoyed the meal and chat together.

After the dim sum breakfast, we had the birthday song and cake cutting ceremony. It was Chee Chee's favourite moment. No matter who's birthday, Chee Chee also involved in the cake cutting session. We bought a chocolate indulgence cake from Secret Recepi for San Yi Yi. Besides the cake, we also bought her a pack of Gucci perfumes as her birthday gift.

On behalf of everyone, we wish San Yi Yi, Happy Birthday and may all her wishes come true!!!

After the celebration, everyone was heading home except, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee. As Equatorial Hotel is quite a nice place to take good photos, we decided to spend some times walking around the hotel and took some lovely photos.

Chee Chee was very excited and she likes to hike along the path of the garden. We enjoyed the fresh air and natural green trees. All of us did some walking exercise in the garden. After walking at the garden, we also took some photos at the poolside with waterfall. It was a nice day.

3 October 2010 - Concert Night

This day was a big big day for Chee Chee. She is graduated from her 3 years old nursery class. On this day, the nursery was organising a Convocation Concert Dinner at Berjaya Hotel.Daddy had bought the concert tickets for Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, Grace, Auntie Four, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu. The concert ticket cost us RM70 per person. It was an expensive convocation for 3 years old nursery.

On this day morning, Chee Chee had to wake up very early as we need to be at Berjaya Hotel at 8am morning for rehearsal. It was hard to wake Chee Chee up so early, but by the time she reach the hotel, she saw so many friends were there, she was so excited and awake. Daddy and mummy were not allowed to stay for the rehearsal, so they had to left the hotel and went for their breakfast with Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong and Poh Poh.

After the rehearsal, daddy and mummy fetched Chee Chee back from hotel and went to Poh Poh's house for lunch. Straight after lunch, we headed back home to get some rest so that Chee Chee can be prepared for the night performance.

Mummy woke Chee Chee up at around 4pm. Chee Chee had to get herself ready, she took a bath and had her early dinner. As tonight, Chee Chee would be dancing on the stage, so mummy needed to put some makeup for Chee Chee. Mummy was very nervous and was not really good in makeup.

Chee Chee had to be at the hotel earlier as teachers needed to change her costume for the performance. Everyone of us reached the hotel at around 7:00pm and the concert started at 7:30pm. There was an impressive break dance performed by the kids as the opening ceremony. After the opening and speeches, the buffet dinner was served. The performance would only begin after the buffet dinner.

Daddy and mummy were very nervous as Chee Chee and her friends would be the first performance. She was dancing as a little chubby butterfly. Before the dance began, one of the kid cried and came down from the stage, but Chee Chee's emotion was not affected. She was standing on stage steadily and waiting for the music to begin. Chee Chee danced perfectly and steadily. She was not even scare or nervous when there were so many audiences on this night. Daddy, mummy and all of us were so touched and impressed. Chee Chee, you are a marvelous girl and you made us proud.

Besides dancing on this night, Chee Chee also went on stage to receive a trophy as "Good Baby in class". But of course, she is not the only one that received the trophy, there were quite a number of "Good Babies" on this night. It was really a wonderful night for everyone of us. Chee Chee had done a great job and she made our day.

2 October 2010 - Saturday

On this Saturday morning, mummy and Chee Chee woke up early as we have an appointment with mummy's colleagues at 10am. After breakfast and bath, mummy and Chee Chee were ready to go meet up with friends. We went to New World Park together.

On this day, mummy's colleague who came from Spokane, US was in Penang. Her name is Janet Kensok. She is the one that joined mummy for US business trip. On this day, mummy brought Chee Chee to New World Park to meet up her colleagues. We met Auntie Janet, Auntie Pei Ching, Auntie Lay Choo, Auntie Monica and her 3 little princesses. Chee Chee was so glad to have 3 friends playing with her.She likes her new friends very much.

After the gathering at Old Town, we decided to bring the kids to Chew Thian Yang Pet shop. Chee Chee and 3 other friends were very excited. They were touring around the pet shop and having a great time together.

On this night, mummy, daddy and Chee Chee had to attend a dinner together. It was invited by Uncle Yap and Uncle Hun Lin and their family. As there were not much performance on this night, Chee Chee was quite bored. Therefore, Grandpa and Grandma came to pick up Chee Chee back home earlier. Before leaving the dinner, Chee Chee wanted to take a photo with Uncle Yap's 2 sons but the 2 boys were too shy and hided under the table when Chee Chee stood beside them. It was a great day.

On this Friday night,we had our dinner at Poh Poh's house. After the dinner, all of us gathered at the tv room for some chat. At around 8pm, granduncle Ghee and his family came to visit Poh Poh. Chee Chee met up with 2 of her cousin brothers on this night. The 2 little boys were a bit shy and they did not play much with Chee Chee at first. But after few hours getting to know everyone and comfortable with the surrounding, the 3 kids played together.

On this Sunday, we went to Poh Poh's house for lunch. After lunch Chee Chee took her afternoon nap at Poh Poh's house. While Chee Chee was sleeping, it was raining heavily. Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang were chatting and talked about a pity puppy at Siao Yi Yi's office. The dog delivered few puppies in the office, but after few days, most of the puppies dead and left only one puppy. While chatting Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang felt bad and pity the puppy and decided to rescue the puppy in the office.

Without further delay, Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang went to the office and they came back to Poh Poh's house after 2 hours. The little puppy was injured and very hungry. Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang did a great job on this day and they had rescued the little puppy from getting cold and sick. Siao Yi Chang decided to bring the puppy for a medical checkup and injections on the next day. It was an "Animal Rescuer, mission completed!!!"

On this night, we decided to go to a Japanese Restaurant in Island Plaza. We never been to this Japanese Restaurant before. It was really crowded and the business was really good. What a coincident, we met Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu in the restaurant as well.

After the dinner, we went to a new dessert shop called "Tutti Fruity" which sell yogurt ice-cream.As per Suk Suk and Sen Sen, this shop is quite popular in Medan and Jakarta as they sell low fat and healthy yogurt ice-cream. We have to pick the cup size and take the ice-cream ourselves. You may also choose the topping that you like as well. It is a nice dessert house.

On this Saturday morning, we had our breakfast at Poh Poh's house. Early in the morning, Poh Poh cooked a lot of delicious breakfast and boiled an egg for Chee Chee. After the breakfast, we were relaxing ourselves and did nothing at home.

At about noon time, daddy called us and asked us whether would like to attend a birthday party at HardRock Hotel. It was a birthday of a friend's son. The birthday boy was around 5 years old. So, before heading to the birthday party at the poolside, we went to Toy R Us to get a birthday present.

We reached HardRock Hotel at around 1pm. The birthday party was already started. We wished the birthday boy and gave him the birthday present. It was a BEN 10 flash light. Hope the birthday boy likes it. We had a great lunch with very delicious pizzas and foods. Chee Chee was also enjoying herself and playing with some new friends. Chee Chee met Uncle Hsiang and his 2 lovely handsome sons. After playing, we had a quick bath and changed a new cloth.

After the party, we were heading for our music class with Teacher Emiline. Chee Chee had a great fun at the class too. After the half an hour session, daddy dropped Chee Chee and mummy at Gurney Plaza to meet up Poh Poh, Siao Yi Yi, Auntie Four and Jiu Jiu. As mummy had the birthday voucher with 50% discount at Kim Gary, we ordered a lot of food. It was really a very compact high tea.

This day was mummy's Chinese Lunar birthday. On this night, we decided to go out for dinner together with everyone at home, including Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, Grace, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu.

On this night, we planned to go to The Sun Restaurant for dinner. As this place is quite cozy and spacious because there were not so crowded on weekdays. All of us enjoyed the meal and gathered together. The restaurant also gave us a piece of cake, therefore, we sang birthday song and blew the candles together. All of us had a wonderful night.

Happy Birthday to mummy again!!!

22 Sep 2010 - Mooncake Festival

This day was Mooncake Festival, but it was not a public holiday in Penang. Therefore, all of us went to work and school as usual.

On this night, after taking dinner and bath, Chee Chee followed Grandma, Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace for a ride. They went to several places to see whether any places celebrating the Lattern Festival. After an hour rounding the town, they came back home happily.

At around 9pm, mummy and Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house while daddy was having an appointment with his friends. Mummy and Chee Chee reached Poh Poh's house and we decided to arrange a mini celebration. We took out all the mooncakes and snacks and displayed them at the balcony area. Gong Gong made some nice tea and Poh Poh prepared all the fruits and snacks. Chee Chee displayed out all her latterns and played some trandition song. All of us sat down together and enjoyed the mooncakes with tea. It was a great night with full moon in the sky.

19 September 2010 - Sunday

It was a lovely Sunday. On this morning, we went to Gurney Plaza for breakfast. After breakfast we had some window shopping for awhile. While we were shopping, mummy received a call from Auntie Merline to Kim Poh's house as Gu Gong will fried maggie mee for us. The fried maggie noodle by Gu Gong is the best maggie noodle in the world, of course, judged by mummy. It is mummy's favourite. Therefore, we left Gurney Plaza soon and heading to Poh Poh's house to pick up Poh Poh.

When we reached Poh Poh's house, Granduncle Chye and his family were there. We had a great chat together. Chee Chee also had some fun playing with Wei Ching. At around 3pm, we departed to go to Kim Poh's house. Auntie Merline and cousin Colin were there. Of course, we enjoyed the fried maggie noodle cooked by Gu Gong.

After awhile, cousin Alfred came to Kim Poh's house as well. Kim Poh's relatives were also visited Kim Poh at the same time as well, so it was really full house. All of us had a great time together.

18 September 2010 - Happy Birthday to Mummy!!!

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to Mummy, Happy Birthday to You!!! Chee Chee sang this wonderful birthday song for mummy early on this morning. Mummy was very touched and happy that Chee Chee is so sweet and lovely. Daddy, mummy and Chee Chee woke up very early on this day, as we have a whole day birthday plan from morning until night.

By 8:30am, 3 of us were properly dressed and ready for our first destination. 1st place we went on this day was Poh Poh's house. As San Yi Yi was back from KL and we did not manage to meet her on the day before as she came back late, so early on this morning, we went to Poh Poh's house to meet San Yi Yi.

At around 9am, Grace was ready as well, so we went back home to fetch Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace. We had our breakfast at Mcdonald Greenlane. After the breakfast, we started our 2nd destination and straightly heading to Ipoh. We planned to visit the Petting Zoo at Lost World Tambun in Ipoh.

We reached Ipoh at around 12:30pm, as it was time for lunch, we decided to go for the chicken rice lunch at Ipoh town. The chicken rice shop is called "Lou Wong" which daddy and mummy's favourite place to eat. Daddy had ordered the famous chicken rice, with fish ball soup, and bean sprout. It was really delicious and Chee Chee loves the chicken rice very much. She finished nearly a bowl of rice by herself.

Without future delay, after the lunch, we were heading to the Petting Zoo at Lost World Tambun. As it was a weekend, so there were quite a big crowd at the entrance. After getting the tickets, we entered the Lost World together. Chee Chee and Grace were very excited and looking forward to visit the zoo.

When we just entered, it was the water park area. There was a man-made beach with sea wave and also children play pool. We past by the water park area and followed the path to the Petting Zoo. When reach the Petting Zoo, we saw a group of peacocks and birds at the entrance walking freely. Daddy bought some feeding foods for the animals so that we can feed the animals in the zoo. Firstly, we feed the rabbits and hamsters. Chee Chee was very excited but also scare. Therefore, mummy demonstrated to her on how to feed the animals.

We spend about 2 hours in the petting zoo, we did feed many animals such as raccoon, rabbits, hamster, birds, peacocks, goats, fish and etc. We also saw some snakes and cobra in the zoo as well. It was really fun and good place to visit. Chee Chee and Grace had a great afternoon in the zoo meeting all the animals.

After the Petting Zoo, we visited another exciting spot in the Lost World, which is Tiger Valley. We reached the tiger valley at the right time, it was the feeding time for the tigers. Chee Chee was so excited to see all the tigers. After the feeding time, we also met the baby tiger at the park. The cub was escorted by 2 trainers and was released freely in the park. Chee Chee and mummy walked nearly to the cub. After snapping some photos, we said goodbye to the cup and the Lost World.

We left Ipoh at about 4pm and reached home before 6pm. Chee Chee and Grace had a good nap through out the journey from Ipoh to Penang. Once the reach home, both of them took a nice bath and had their dinner.

On this night, mummy had invited everyone, including Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, Grace, Auntie Four, Uncle Four, Siao Yi Yi, Siao Yi Chang and Jiu Jiu, for dinner at May Garden Restaurant. We seldom come to this restaurant, but as for this day, many restaurants was occupied for wedding dinner, this is the restaurant that not having any event. All of us enjoyed the dinner and had a great chat on this night.

After the dinner, we had the cake cutting session in the restaurant. It was the moment that Chee Chee is looking forward. She loves to sing birthday song, blow candles and cut the cake. Chee Chee and Grace blows the candles and cut the cake together. It was a wonderful birthday for mummy. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and presents. Happy Birthday Mummy!!!

On this Friday night, all of us went back to Poh Poh's house for dinner. As the next day will be mummy's birthday, so Poh Poh had prepared a pre-birthday dinner for mummy. She had prepared some noodles, spring rolls, and etc.

Mummy came back from work earlier tonight, and after bath, all of them including Grandpa, Grandma, Suk Suk and Sen Sen, we gathered at Poh Poh's house. Chee Chee and Grace were not joining us for dinner at Poh Poh's house tonight because they were attending their school event. On this night, their nursery was celebrating pre-Mooncake Festival. At around 6pm, Daddy dropped Chee Chee at school and we would picked her up at 8:30pm at night.

We reached Poh Poh's house at about 7pm. Auntie Four, Siao Yi Yi, Jiu Jiu, Gong Gong and Poh Poh were ready for dinner. Poh Poh had prepared a table of nice dishes. All of us enjoyed the great birthday dinner together. After we finished the dinner, daddy, mummy, Suk Suk and Sen Sen went to school to pick up Grace and Chee Chee. Both of them were enjoying herself carrying their lantern and playing with their friends. On this night, all of them had to dress up with traditional clothes. Luckily, Chee Chee still can fit in the cheong sam given by Zi Ning. It was a happy and great night for everyone.

16 September 2010 - Malaysia Day

This day was a public holiday, we called it "Malaysia Day". Mummy and Daddy did not need to work on this day. Therefore, on this morning, we planned to go to Gurney Plaza for our brunch. As Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang were on holiday as well, so both of them joined us for brunch at Coffee Bean in Gurney Plaza.

While we were ordering our meals, Auntie Four called us as well. On this day, Auntie Four was working as her company did not recognized this holiday. However, Auntie Four wanted to join us as well, because it was her lunch break. All of us had a leisure and relaxing brunch together. After the brunch, we done some window shopping for awhile.

As Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning had gone back to Singapore, and the wonderful moment had over. To make Chee Chee cheer up, mummy and daddy decided to bring Chee Chee to Mcdonalds for breakfast on this day. But Chee Chee, why are you still showing that face??? :(

Time flies really fast. This day, Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning would be going back to Singapore in the afternoon. Initially, we planned to have breakfast out but there was many food at home. So we decided to sleep later while daddy went to take away some nice food for us. We woke up at around 10am and had our breakfast at home.

After the breakfast, we planned to go for some shopping but all of us were very lazy and tired. At the end, we did not manage to go any other places but just spending the whole morning and afternoon at home.

By 3pm, we had to depart and heading to airport as Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning needed to catch the 5pm flight. When we reached the airport, the stewardess told us that the flight had delayed to 7pm. We were quite happy to hear the delay. As we still have plenty of time, we decided to go to Queensbay Mall for some shopping and meals. After having some fun at Queensbay Mall, we had our early dinner together at Station 1. At around 6pm, we send Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning to airport and waived goodbye to our lovely super VIP from Singapore. Hope they will be back again soon.

Selamat Hari Raya to everyone!!! This day was a public holiday, so mummy and Chee Chee do not need to go to work and school. Besides that, we have a long list of schedule and itinerary for Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. Poh Poh cannot join us for our outing today as she was having her vacation trip to China with Gong Gong, Grandpa and Grandma.They departed from Penang early on this morning.

As we were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house, so this morning, Chuan Zheng wake all of us up very early in the morning. After taking bath and changed, we went to Fettes Park market for breakfast. Chuan Zheng loves the hokkien mee here.

After the breakfast, mummy, Chee Chee, Ta Yi Yi, Siao Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning were heading to our first tourist spot of the day. We went to the Spice Garden. It took us about 30 minutes drive to Spice Garden. After getting the entrance tickets, we look into the map and started our adventurous hiking at Spice Garden. Chee Chee was very excited, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning were also enjoying themselves.

It was an adventurous visit but tiring as well. We needs to take a lot of steps and climbed up and down. It is a very green and natural place which full of spices. Chuan Zheng was exploring around the Spice Garden while Chee Chee and Zi Ning were enjoying the hike. Mummy, Ta Yi Yi and Siao Yi Yi were quite happy to see them enjoying themselves. It was an interesting visit.

After more than an hour hike, we were quite tired and we had our light lunch at Tree Monkey Restaurant in Spice Garden. The restaurant has a very nice sea view and it served Thai food. We did not ordered the Thai food, but we just ordered some drinks and sandwishes. It is a good place to visit if you go to Batu Feringghi.

After a short break, we were heading to the second tourist spot of the day, that is Butterfly Farm. Although we were quite tired already, but mummy had promised Chee Chee to bring her to Butterfly Farm and Chee Chee kept insisted to go there, so we decided to the adventurous trip.

Chee Chee and Zi Ning were very excited when they entered the Butterfly Farm. They love all the butterflies and flowers in there. Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning came here before but they still happy to visit the place again.We just spend an hour in butterfly farm and were heading back to Poh Poh's house. All of us were very tired and sleepy, so we did not go anywhere else but Poh Poh's house.

In the evening, all of us wake up from nap and had a great fun at Poh Poh's garden. Chee Chee and Zi Ning were cycling and Chuan Zheng was there to help pushing their bicycle. It was nice and relaxing.

At night, we decided to go to Gurney Plaza for dinner and also some shopping. We had our dinner at Kim Gary and all of us enjoyed the food there very much. After the dinner, all of us had leisure shopping at Gurney Plaza. It was a wonderful and adventurous day.

On this day, mummy was on leave. She on leave not because of Hari Raya, she on leave not because of Puasa, but she on leave was because Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning came to Penang for holidays. However, Chee Chee had to go to school as Ta Yi Yi and Daddy insisted that even so many people coming to Penang, Chee Chee not suppose to take the excuse to skip school.

On this day morning, after dropped Chee Chee to school, mummy headed to Poh Poh's house to meet Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. All of us went to market for breakfast. We ordered some toasts, half boiled eggs and drinks. Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning love it very much.

After the breakfast, we went back home and waited for the time to go to school to fetch Chee Chee. While waiting, all of us had a great chat together. Gong Gong was back to home after his breakfast to meet all of us.

After fetched Chee Chee back from shcool, we had our lunch at Poh Poh's house. After lunch, we went to Time Square Mall for shopping. There is not much shops there and nothing much to see. We just went to a toys shop called Lafonis. It is a nice toys and kids equipment shop: http://www.lafonis.com.my/

Since there was nothing much to see, we left Time Square quite soon and went to "The Sun" for hi-tea. It was a nice place for hi-tea. We ordered some cakes and cookies and drinks. We spend about an hour chatting and enjoyed the hi-tea together.

After the hi-tea, we decided to go to Chew Aquarium. It is one of Chuan Zheng's favourite spot. Of course, Zi Ning and Chee Chee were enjoying themselves there too. Zi Ning and Chee Chee bought some little fish in the aquarium. Chuan Zheng also bought from air pumps and tank deco for his own aquarium at home.

On this night, as so many of us were back to Poh Poh's house, so we decided to have steamboat at home. Poh Poh just spend an hour to prepare the steamboat, all of us had a precious and wonderful steamboat dinner for the whole night.

It was a lovely Sunday. As usually we wake up late on this morning and by the time we ready, it was about lunch time. On this day, we had our brunch at Nando's Restaurant in Gurney Plaza. Daddy and Chee Chee love Nando's very much, daddy likes the chicken, Chee Chee likes the butter rice. All of us had a great brunch together.

After the brunch, we did some window shopping at Gurney Plaza. Mummy brought Chee Chee to the sand art corner.Chee Chee choose a Hello Kitty picture for the sand art. The uncle there teached Chee Chee how to do it. Chee Chee managed to finish the art work within half an hour. She had a great time playing the sand. It was real fun.

After shopping at Gurney, we met Siao Yi Yi and Poh Poh, we followed them to Poh Poh's house for porridge. As Sian Yi Yi was busy with her MBA thesis, so all of us accompany her and studied at study room with her. Mummy was doing knitting, Chee Chee was playing games, Jiu Jiu was studying and Poh Poh was making paper box. All of us had a great afternoon. We ordered Mcdonalds for hi-tea as well.

On this night, we had our dinner with Grandpa, Grandma, Sen Sen and Grace at Queensball Mall. We decided to go to Station 1 and Chee Chee had ordered a Sang Mee to share with mummy. All of us had great dinner together. After the dinner, Chee Chee and Grace went to the playing corner together. They had many rides together. Both of them love the marry go around houses. After the ride, we had some ice-cream at Baskin Robin. It was a great night.

2 Sep 2010 - Happy Birthday Sen Sen!!!

Happy Birthday to Sen Sen!!! On this day, it was Sen Sen's birthday, Grandma suggested we go to a reataurant called "Lauee" Restaurant for birthday dinner. We never been to this restaurant before, but it was recommended by Grandma's friend. So this night, all of us came back home earlier and got ready for the birthday dinner.

The restaurant is kind of home business which open by a family. The wife is a good cook and the husband is the captain of the crew. The daughters and grandchildren were there to help as well. The dishes were quite nice. All of us had a great dinner together. The decoration in the restaurant was quite nice and unique as well. It was a great birthday dinner.

After the birthday dinner, we went back home for cake cutting ceremony. Sen Sen's friends gave her a lovely birthday cake as present. All of us sang a birthday song, Sen Sen, Grace and Chee Chee blow the candles together. Sen Sen cut the cake for everyone of us. It was a very delicious chocolate cake. Happy Birthday to Sen Sen and may all your wishes come true!!!

31 August 2010 - Merdeka Day

This day was Merdeka public holiday. Daddy and mummy were not working on this day. We woke up at around 10am this morning and we had our breakfast with Grandpa, Grandma, Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace at Canton-I Restaurant in Queesnbay Mall. Unfortunately, mummy forgot to bring her camera along, so we did not manage to snap any photos in Queensbay Mall. After the brunch. Grandpa brought Chee Chee and Grace to the playing area. Chee Chee and Grace had a great time playing around. It was a fun morning.

In the afternoon, mummy and Chee Chee went to Poh Poh's house for porridge lunch. We met Auntie Four, Siao Yi Yi, Siao Yi Chang, Jiu Jiu and Poh Poh. Auntie Four was working today as her company did not recognise Malaysia public holiday. So, she came back to Poh Poh's house for lunch. All of us had a great chat together.

At around 3pm, Siao Yi Yi suggested to bring us to a nice place for hi-tea. It is a heritage restaurant which served English style hi-tea desserts. As we had nothing much to do this afternoon, we decided to go for a relaxing tea break. Chee Chee skipped her afternoon nap and joined Siao Yi Yi, Poh Poh and mummy to a place called Suffolk House for hi-tea.

Suffolk House is a English heritage building. The place is very green and lovely, and there is a small river along the path. We parked our car outside and walked into the white building. In the building, the decoration is very English and classic. We were seated and mummy order a hi-tea set for 2 packs and a glass of orange juice for Chee Chee. Chee Chee was very excited to see the green big field and there is a small river outside. Chee Chee met a new friend there too. She had a great time playing with the little girl.

After an outdoor running around, Chee Chee sat down and enjoyed the lovely desserts with juice. Chee Chee loves the sandwishes and cookies too. Poh Poh was not so enjoying as she doesn't really like bread and butter. However, Poh Poh enjoyed the tea and had a great time with all of us.

We went back home in the evening. Chee Chee took her bath and get some rest at home. On this night, we did not go out for dinner as most of us were quite full. Therefore, Grandpa and Grandma decided to stay at home and had a piece of durian cake. Grandma had ordered a delicious durian cake and we lighted up the candles and let Chee Chee and Grace had a singing session and blowing candles. We sang a happy birthday song for Malaysia. Happy Merdeka Malaysia!!!

First of all, just would like to wish Siao Yi Yi Happy Birthday again.....

On this day, Grandma went to pick Chee Chee back from Poh Poh's house earlier as Grace would like to have an evening swim at the garden today. Grandpa brought Chee Chee back earlier so that she can joined Grace for a swim. Chee Chee had a great time swimming with Grace and daddy had taken a lot of nice photos. Mummy did not get the chance to join the fun because she was not back from work yet. Grace and Chee Chee had a great fun time together swimming at the pool. It was a great evening.

7 August 2010 - Pre-Happy Birthday to Siao Yi Yi

On this Saturday, San Yi Chang and San Yi Yi were back to Penang to attend the pre-birthday party celebration for Siao Yi Yi. Siao Yi Yi's birthday will be on 9 August Monday, so we all decided to celebrate her big day on the Saturday night.

All of us were helping on preparing the birthday party. Of course, the key food organizer was Poh Poh. We suggested to have the steamboat as the main course of the party. At around 6pm, San Yi Chang, Si Yi Chang and all the Yi Yis were ready and gathered at Poh Poh's house.We started the party at 7pm sharp. There were a lot of food prepared by us and we began the birthday party.

It was a great birthday party. Siao Yi Yi was very happy and thankful that all of us made a wonderful birthday party for her. After the dinner, we had the cake cutting ceremony and sang the birthday song together. As usual, Chee Chee would be the one standing in front of the birthday cake and joined the cake cutting. Si Yi Chang purposely teased Chee Chee and wished her happy birthday, but Chee Chee answered shyly that, "no lah, it's not my birthday, is Siao Yi Yi's birthday." Mummy was quite surprised to hear Chee Chee said so, she is a big girl now.

17 & 18 July 2010 - Weekend

On this Saturday night, we had our dinner with the relatives from Indonesia. Er Yi Chang Gong, Er Yi Poh, Uncle Win and their friends were having dinner with us and Great Grandpa as well. Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Grandpa, Grandma, Granduncles and Grandaunties, all gathered together at Double Dragon Restaurant for dinner. It was a great dinner and all of us had a great meal and precious chat together.

On this Sunday morning, Great Grandpa was back to Medan. As he was travelling alone, therefore, daddy was assigned to accompany Great Grandpa flying back to Medan together. So, daddy would only be back to Penang on Monday.

During Sunday lunch, mummy and Chee Chee went back to Poh Poh's house. we had our lunch at Poh Poh's house. Ku Kong, Kim Poh, Uncle Chun Beng, Auntie Merline, and their family came to Poh Poh's house as well. Chee Chee was so glad to meet Alfred and Colin on this day. They had a great play together.

On this night, all of us went to Island Plaza for dinner. Gong Gong suggested to have our dinner at Fu Ling Ge Restaurant. The dinner was delicious on this night but it was a bit too pricy. However, all of us had a great night gathered together.

On this night, we had our dinner with Great Grandpa at Dragon I Restaurant at Gurney Plaza. Chee Chee was very excited to meet Great Grandpa again on this day. When she saw Great Grandpa at the hotel lobby, she called out loud and clear "Tai Gong".... Great Grandpa was very happy to see Chee Chee too. All of us had a great dinner together at Dragon I Restaurant and Grandma had ordered a lot of nice dishes. After the dinner, we had some window shopping and chatting at the hotel lobby before Great Grandpa went to bed.

15 July 2010 - Thursday

On this night, we were told to attend a dinner at Han Chiang school. Great grandpa was purposely came to Penang to attend the anniversary dinner held at Han Chiang. Grandma was from Han Chiang High School last time. This night was the alumni dinner and all of us were invited.

We went to the dinner at around 7pm. Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Siao Yi Yi and Jiu Jiu were there at the dinner as well. It was a very grand and big dinner at the school field. There were many performance and activities on this night. All of us had a great time together, enjoying the performance and meals on this night.

9 - 12 July 2010 - Singapore Trip

The trip that Chee Chee was desperately waiting for had come. In the past, she heard about Singapore from Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng and she feels that it is a wonderful and mystery place. According to Poh Poh, Chee Chee had been dreaming of going to Singapopre several times. Chee Chee also told her school friends and teachers that she wants to go to Singapore. Finally, on this day morning, all of us woke up very early and Chee Chee was told to go to airport for catching a flight to Singapore. She woke up immediately without any delay and all of us got ourselves dressed.

We reached the airport very early, after checking in, we had our breakfast together at Mcdonald. 3 of us were very excited as it was the first time Chee Chee following daddy and mummy to Singapore. Yes, her dream came true and she was really excited. Chee Chee was very sleepy during the journey to Singapore as we woke up too early on this morning. However, she was forcing herself to stay up awake through out the whole journey. She not even taking a nap in the airplane. She was concentrating to enjoy the every moment to Singapore.

We reached Singapore at about noon time. While daddy was waiting for our luggages, we just can wait but went out from the custom ourselves. Ta Yi Yi and Zi Ning was there holding a big Paddington bear welcoming us. Chee Chee was extremely excited and happy to see Zi Ning and Ta Yi Yi. She ran over to them and gave them a warm hug and kisses.

Hurray, our Singapore trip started on noon of Friday, and we were heading to pick up Chuan Zheng after his tuition at somewhere. We had our lunch together at the shopping mall where Chuan Zheng had his tuition. After lunch, we went to Sentosa for checking in our hotel at Micheal Hotel. As per Ta Yi Yi's plan, we planned to go to Wonder Water World, but Chee Chee was too sleepy at that time. She falled asleep in her stroller while waiting for our hotel room. At night, we had our dinner with Ta Yi Chang together Vivo City. After the dinner, Chee Chee followed Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng back to their house. She was staying overnight at Ta Yi Yi's house on this night. She was very excited and waiving goodbye to mummy and daddy without hesitating. She is big girl and independent now.

On Saturday morning, mummy and daddy took a cap to Singapore Zoo to meet up with Chee Chee, Zi Ning, Chuan Zheng, Ta Yi Yi and Ta Yi Chang. According to Ta Yi Yi, Chee Chee was very easy to manage and she had a great time staying at their house. All of us were every excited for visiting the Singapore Zoo, Chee Chee hold her hand with Zi Ning and both of them carried a Zoo map with them. We enjoyed the zoo very much. The favourite spot in the zoo was the water park area where Chee Chee can get wet.

On Sunday morning, we met Zi Ning, Chuan Zheng, Ta Yi Yi and Ta Yi Chang at Vivo City for breakfast. After the breakfast, we went to Underwater World. Chee Chee loves the aquarium very much. There was a section for us to touch some underwater creatures. After the visit at the aquarium, we went to the Dolphin pool to see the seals and dolphines performance. Chee Chee was so excited to see the seals and dolphins. It was really a great visit. After visiting the Underwater World, we went back to hotel for a swim. After the swim, we went to Sentosa beach for an romantic evening walk. It was really a great vacation at Singapore.

On Monday morning, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning were back to school and Ta Yi Chang and Ta Yi Yi were back to work. On this day morning, 3 of us spend our time together at Sentosa. Initially, we planned to visit Universal Studio, but the tickets were sold out. It was already sold out on Sunday. We were unable to visit Universal Studio, therefore, we went to Sentosa beaches and visit butterfly farm. In the afternoon, we were heading to airport and it ended our wonderful Singapore trip.

It was really a great trip and Chee Chee was enjoying herself very much. Daddy and mummy feel so happy because we can see that Chee Chee really had a great time in Singapore. It really worth the trip when we see Chee Chee's reaction. We will come to Singapore again when we have the time.

8 July 2010 - Happy Birthday to Daddy!!!

8 July 2010 was daddy's birthday. Happy Birthday to Chee Chee's dearest daddy!!!

On this day, all of us woke up slightly early and dressed nicely for school and work. Before we go, all of us had breakfast together. Grandma had bought some birthday noodles, and god-grandma prepared red eggs. All of us had a great birthday breakfast together.

On this night, we went out for dinner. We celebrated daddy's birthday dinner at Ryoma Japanese Restaurant. It was one of our favourite restaurant. We ordered a lot of nice dishes which daddy likes it very much. All of us had a great and precious moment together.

After the dinner, we went back home for cake cutting ceremony. Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace had bought a lovely birthday cake for daddy. Chee Chee and Grace sang the birthday song with daddy and 3 of them cut the cake together. It was a memorable birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!!!

3 & 4 July 2010 - Weekend

3 July 2010 was a good day for daddy and Suk Suk to move to their new office premise. On this Saturday morning, daddy came to Poh Poh's house to pick us up and we went to the new office together. Grandma and Suk Suk had ordered 8 dishes and also some drinks for a mini opening ceremony.

We reached daddy's office at around 12:30noon. Chee Chee had met uncle Ron, uncles and aunties. We had a great chat together. Chee Chee was curious about the new office and she was walking around from room to room. At about 1pm, Grandma and Suk Suk had ready all the dishes and all of us had our lunch in the office together. Best wishes to Daddy, Suk Suk and Uncle Ron on the new office.

On Sunday afternoon, Daddy went to Bangkok alone for business. Chee Chee and mummy were staying at home. On this night, we had our dinner with Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh and Siao Yi Yi at a nyonya restaurant in NewWorld Park. It was a great dinner.

26 & 27 June 2010 - Weekend

On this weekend, Chee Chee and mummy stayed over night at Poh Poh's house on Friday night. On Saturday morning, all of us woke up early and we followed Poh Poh and Siao Yi Yi to market for breakfast. Chee Chee seldom goes to market and this is the first time mummy brought her to the market near Kimberley Street. We had the steamed bread with half boiled eggs for breakfast. It was really delicious and great experience for Chee Chee to have her breakfast at the roadside. She was a bit worried about the unstable chair. However, we had a great time and Poh Poh also bought Chee Chee some nice toys from market.

On Sunday morning, as usual, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee woke up late on this morning. After taking bath and dressed, it was almost lunch time. 3 of us went to Gurney Plaza for our brunch at a restaurant that we seldom go, called "Huan Xi Di" Restaurant. It was a Hongkie style restaurant, the food was average only but it was a nice place to sit with good seaview.

As Dragon-I restaurant is newly opened at Gurney Plaza, so on this night, Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong and Poh Poh decided to have dinner together there. We had ordered a lot of nice food and all of us enjoyed the dinner very much. It was a great dinner and we had some window shopping after the dinner.

20 June 2010 - Happy Fathers' Day

Happy Fathers' Day to Chee Chee's beloved daddy!!! On this lovely Sunday morning, all of us woke up early and got ourselves really for breakfast. This day, Auntie Siew invited all of us and also Gong Gong, Poh Poh and Siao Yi Yi to Flamingo Hotel for buffet lunch.

Chee Chee was so happy to visit a new place. She loves the swimming pool and also the great sea view. She was enjoying herself walking around the swimming pool and also the playground area. Besides walking around, we also had a delicious buffet lunch there. Chee Chee loves the mushroom and bread.

In the restaurant, there was a clown who walking around and making balloons for all the kids. Chee Chee was asking for a specious balloon as well and the clown made a Pink Panther balloon for her. Grace got a lovely bunny ballon too. All of us had a great time together.

After the buffet lunch, we went home for some rest. Daddy had a short nap but mummy and Chee Chee were unable to sleep. So both of us were playing together and Chee Chee took the knitted cap which knitted by mummy. She posted nicely with the cap on her and we took some photos at the balcony.

At around 4pm, we woke daddy up and got ourselves ready for a swim. It has been long long time we did not go for swimming as Penang Swimming Club was closed for several months for maintainance. After a long break, we back to the pool for some great swim.

19 June 2010 - Pre-Happy Fathers' Day Celebration

On this Satuday night, we had our pre-Happy Fathers' Day celebration at E&O Hotel. Mummy had made a reservation for the buffet dinner on this night. We had the celebration with Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen, San Yi Chang, San Yi Yi, Auntie Four, Uncle Four, Siao Yi Yi, Siao Yi Chang, Jiu Jiu, and of course mummy, daddy and Chee Chee as well. It was a big group of 15 persons on this night.

On this night, the E&O hotel was serving "Dine & Wine" international buffet. There were various of food served, such as seafood, japanese food, noodles, meats, desserts and a lot more. Mummy and daddy brought Chee Chee to the outdoor and had some sea view before sunset. Chee Chee loves the place very much.

All of us had a great and full meal on this night. Chee Chee also ate some rice, soup and cakes on this night. We had a precious moment together with so many people. Besides the great meal, there was also a live band singing around the hall. Chee Chee enjoyed the lovely music and great meal on this night. Everyone of us was very happy and had a great moment together.

On this Sunday, daddy, mummy and Chee Chee woke up very late on this morning. By the time we woke it, it was about lunch time. We took a bath and had our brunch at home as Grandma had bought us some food. After our brunch and chit chatting with Grandma, Suk Suk and Sen Sen, Grandma suggested we went to have some durians.

Grandma loves durian very much and now is the durian season. We went to the durian store at Burma Road, which Grandma usually bought durian from this store. We had a lot of nice durian together. Chee Chee tasted the durian but she does not really like durian, but it was a good try.

After the durian eating, we went for some grocery shopping at Plazone, Pulau Tikus. After the shopping, we went to Coffee Bean for an afternoon coffee together. Chee Chee ordered a breakfast-all-day set and she loves it very much. It was a great day together.

On this day morning, all of us woke up at around 10am at Poh Poh's house. On this morning, we had our breakfast at Poh Poh's house. After the breakfast, all of us trying to help out Poh Poh with making rice dumpling (bak chang). Poh Poh is very good in making the rice dumpling. We are trying to help out but unfortunately, none of us is a good helper. What we all can do best is finish eating all the dumplings.

Chee Chee was trying to learn and help Poh Poh in making dumpling as well. Of course, even mummy also doensn't know how to do, it is impossible that Chee Chee can make it. We took some photos of the making of dumplings with Poh Poh. The rice dumplings made by Poh Poh were very delicious and Chee Chee loves it very much.

After the afternoon nap, we went back to our house. Chee Chee and Grandma were playing at the garden. Grandma took out the bubble machine and made a lot of bubbles. Chee Chee had a great fun and run in the garden with Grandma.

11 June 2010 - WorldCup Opening Ceremony

As usual, Friday night is the night we went back to Poh Poh's house for dinner. This day, after the dinner, all of us gathered together and waiting for the opening ceremony fo WorldCup 2010 at around 10pm. Actually, we are not a football fans, but we just would like to join the crowded and get together for a memorable event. As daddy was having some appointment with his friends, so he did not join us for the opening ceremony and fist WorldCup football match.

Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang also watched the opening ceremony with us. As to make it a more interesting event, Siao Yi Yi and Siao Yi Chang went to buy a lot of snack and food for everyone of us. So we may watch the opening ceremony and eat some snack together. It was a great night together with Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Auntie Four, Siao Yi Yi, Siao Yi Chang, Jiu Jiu, mummy and Chee Chee. Chee Chee loves to watch the uncles kick football... Hurray Hurray Hurray!!!

This day was a replacement of public holiday, so mummy did not have to go to work, but Chee Chee had to go to school for her holiday camp. Chee Chee's school holidays started on this day and it will be a 2 weeks break, but mummy had signed up the holiday camp and activities for Chee Chee.

5 & 6 June 2010 - Weekend

Since daddy and mummy back from vacation, mummy really appreciates the time spend with Chee Chee. To compensate, daddy and mummy planned some activities with Chee Chee on this weekend. Unfortunately, it was raining on Saturday morning, so we cannot have much outdoor activity. Therefore, we decided to go to Gurney for our brunch. We invited Siao Yi Yi and Uncle Chun Li to join us for brunch as well at Gurney Plaza. As the school holidays started on this day, Gurney Plaza was very crowded. After discussion, we decided to have our brunch at Kim Gary. All of us had a great time on this morning.

After the brunch, we had some shopping in Gurney Plaza. At around 4pm, we left the shopping mall and went back for some rest.

On this night, daddy and mummy went out for dinner with their friends. As Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace were having their holidays in Singapore, so no one at home to accompany Chee Chee. So Chee Chee joined daddy and mummy for dinner with uncles and aunties. On this night, we met Ryan as well. We had our dinner at Chicago Ribs in Gurney Plaza. After the dinner, we had some chit-chatting at Dome until 11pm. It was a great day for everyone.

The next day morning, we went to Canton I Restaurant in Queensbay Mall for our breakfast together with Siao Yi Yi. While on the way to the restaurant, Chee Chee saw a spoungebob soft toy and she loves it very much. Siao Yi Yi bought that soft toy for her. Thanks to Siao Yi Yi. After the breakfast, we went back to Poh Poh's house. At around 4pm, we all heading to airport to fetch Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Suk Suk, Sen Sen and Grace whoe went came back from Singapore. They had bought Chee Chee a lot of nice dresses, shoes and toys. Thanks to everyone....

Is Chee Chee's mummy getting lazier and lazier in updating Chee Chee's blog? Why mummy did not updated the blogs for several weeks again? Why? Why? Why?

Mummy was not being lazy, but she was being selfish, cruel and unforgivable. WHY? What had mummy done to Chee Chee? Nothing so serious, just that daddy and mummy left Chee Chee at home with grandparents and they were enjoying themselves at Tokyo for 10 days. What a pity Chee Chee!

Daddy, mummy with Uncle Hun Lin and Auntie Mindy had their 10 days vacation together at Japan. It was their "honeymoon" without Chee Chee. Luckily, Chee Chee also had her great time in Penang with grandparents and others. She was greatly taken care by her grandparents. Big thank you to Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong and Poh Poh!!!

On the day 1 of the vacation, daddy and mummy were already felt guilty for leaving Chee Chee at home. One of the place that made them felt more guilty was Tokyo Disneyland. What were daddy and mummy doing in Disneyland without Chee Chee!!! Chee Chee would be very happy if she can go to Disneyland. Mummy felt so guilty and deeply regretted that Chee Chee was not with her when she met Mickey and Minnie. Mummy promised to herself that she will bring Chee Chee to Disneyland one day.

Finally, the 10 days vacation were over. Daddy and mummy are back to Chee Chee again on 29 May 2010. It was a wonderful trip to Japan just that daddy and mummy missed Chee Chee like crazy for these 10 days.

Last week, Teacher Melissa told mummy that Chee Chee had won the 3rd prize in her class colouring competition. Teacher told us that, it was about 7-8 students in the class and Chee Chee got the 3rd prize. Although there is not much competitors but mummy and daddy are so proud of Chee Chee. It was Chee Chee's first time getting the reward and winning a competition. Good job my dear!!!

On this Sunday morning, Chee Chee followed Grandpa and Grandma to join Gong Gong and Poh Poh for dim sum breakfast at Island Plaza. After the breakfast, Chee Chee came back home and mummy and daddy decided to bring her out for shopping at a baby shop. At the side the baby shop, it was Chew Thian Yang aquarium, we visited the aquarium together. All of us had a great time in the aquarium.

On this night, Grandpa and Grandma suggested to bring Chee Chee to Queensbay Mall for dinner. We went to our favourite restaurant, Canton-I Reataurant, for dinner. It was a great dinner and Grandma had ordered alot of nice foods on this night.

After the dinner, we had some shopping at Queensbay Mall. Chee Chee tried to search some nice toys in Toy r Us, but we couldn't find anything that we like, so we did not buy any toys. Mummy was so glad that, even though after shopping in Toy r Us, but Chee Chee did not insists simply buy any toys.

On this Saturday, Siao Yi Yi and Auntie Four had booked a karaoke session at Redbox Gurney Plaza. All of us woke up very early and got ourselves ready for the singing session. We reached Redbox at 10:30am and got a room for us. As San Yi Yi was back from KL, so we also called her to join us for the singing session.

The Redbox session was including the lunch package, so all of us had our brunch at Redbox. Mummy ordered a lunch set with sausages and fries. Chee Chee loves the meals and drink very much. All of us had a great time singing and enjoying ourselves.

At night, all of us including Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh and all Yi Yis, Yi Chang and Jiu Jiu had our dinner together at Sa Tan Siao Kun Restaurant at Pulau Tikus. However, mummy forgot to bring camera on this night, therefore, there was no photo taken on this night.

9 May 2010 - Happy Mothers' Day

Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers.......

On this day morning, as Chee Chee was unable to wake up in the morning, so we did not go anywhere for breakfast. Gong Gong had bought us some delicious dim sum for breakfast and Poh Poh had fried mee hoon. So we all stayed at Poh Poh's house for breakfast. Chee Chee woke up late and she directly had her lunch after bath. In the whole afternoon, we spend our time chatting and gathering with San Yi Yi at Poh Poh's house. At around 3pm, San Yi Yi needed to catch her bus back to KL, so Chee Chee and mummy went back home for a nap.

On this night, Suk Suk and Sen Sen decided to bring Grandpa and Grandma to Ryoma Japanese Restaurant for dinner together. Grandma had made a reservation for a private room. Grace and Chee Chee were having some fun time playing together. It was a great dinner and all of us enjoyed the time together.

On this Friday, Chee Chee made a Mothers' Day card in school for mummy. It was a lovely card and mummy was so touching that my girl is so big now.

At night mummy and Chee Chee were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house. On the next morning, both of us woke up late. We did not took our breakfast as we planned to have our brunch at Eastern Wishes. San Yi Yi was coming back to Penang on this day for Mothers' Day celebration. So, mummy brought Poh Poh, Auntie Four and Siao Yi Yi to a restaurant at I-Avenue so that we may fetch San Yi Yi from the bus station after our brunch.

On this evening, we celebrated Mothers' Day dinner at Hokaido Restaurant with Grandpa, Grandma, Gong Gong, Poh Poh and everyone at home. Gong Gong, Poh Poh, San Yi Yi, Auntie Four, Uncle Four, Siao Yi YI and Jiu Jiu sat together and Suk Suk, Sen Sen, mummy, daddy were in the same table with Grandpa and Grandma. As it was pre-mothers day, so the restaurant was very crowded and fully occupied. The food on this night was not so good and the environment was too noisy. However, the most important is we all love our mothers and our mothers love us.

On this day, mummy did not have to go to work as it was a replacement for Labour Day holiday. This day, Ta Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng would go back to Singapore in the evening. So all of stayed at home and overnighted at Poh Poh's house.

On this day morning, we went to Fetes Park market with Chuan Zheng, Zi Ning and Ta Yi Yi. Chee Chee and Siao Yi Yi were staying at home as Siao Yi Yi was sick on this day. So we bought some breakfast from market and went back to Poh Poh's house and eat together.

As mummy had promised to buy Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning a replacement birthday present, so after the breakfast, we went to Gurney Plaza for a quick shopping before we go to the airport. We bought some toys and gift from Toy R Us.

In the afternoon, all of us fetched Ta Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng to the airport. Chee Chee was sad that Ta Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng are going back soon. She kept telling mummy that she wants to buy an air ticket and fly to Singapore with them. Mummy promised Chee Chee to bring her to Singapore one day.

2 May 2010 - Sunday

It was a lovely Sunday, but Chee Chee cannot wake up early on this morning. As we were staying overnight at Poh Poh's house and playing with Ta Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng, so Chee Chee and Zi Ning slept late and cannot wake up the next day morning.

So we did not wake Chee Chee and Zi Ning up on this day morning, and all of us went to Island Plaza for dim sum breakfast. After the breakfast, everyone went back home to play with Chee Chee. Chee Chee was so happy to spend her whole day with Zi Ning and Chuan Zheng.

On this night, we had our dinner earlier at Poh Poh's house. After the dinner, Siao Yi Yi had gotten us several tickets to watch the performance by Tzi Chi's kindergarden. Mummy brought Poh Poh, Siao Yi Yi, Zi Ning and Chee Chee to the performance venue at around 8pm. We saw many people and kids on in the hall and the performance started at 8pm sharp. All the kids were very smart and cute, they can sing and performed very well. All of us had a great night.

At about 9:30pm, the show was almost come to the end. All the kindergarden kids were up to the stage and the teacher also invited Zi Ning and Chee Chee to join everyone on the stage. Each of them were given a rose and followed all the kids, Zi Ning and Chee Chee walked down from the stage and brought the rose to Poh Poh and mummy. Everyone wished each other pre- Happy Mothers Day. All of us had a wonderful night.

1 May 2010 - Arrival of "Real" Super Stars

This day was public holiday due to Labour Day. There were several big things happened on this day. Early on this morning, mummy and Auntie Four went to the airport to fetch Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. Chee Chee's real super stars are Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning and not all the Hong Kong movie stars.

When Chee Chee woke up on this morning, she was so excited to see Ta Yi Yi, Chuan Zheng and Zi Ning. She jumped up from her bed and keep hugging all of them. Without any delay, Chee Chee woke up from her bed and followed Zi Ning for a bath. She was tagging with Zi Ning all the time.

We had our breakfast at Poh Poh's house as Poh Poh had cooked a lot of nice dishes for everyone of us. We had a very full breakfast and we enjoyed the time gathered together.

On this day afternoon, daddy was very nervous and stress as he had to participant in the soccer match, representing Penang Wang Nia You team to play with the Hong Kong Soccer Stars. All of us were very excited and cannot wait to watch the match.

We reached the Penang Stadium at around 4pm. Daddy had to get himself warm up and ready for the match. All of us were there to support daddy. This is a friendly match and daddy seldom kick football, so we did not expect that daddy's team will win the match, but it would be a great game for daddy.

Chee Chee was so excited to see so many people on the field, especially she can spotted daddy on the field too. Chee Chee was screamed out loud to give great support to daddy. Daddy is our super star.

As what we expected, daddy did not win the match but we were very proud of him. It was a great fun to see the live soccer match especially daddy was participating. It was a tiring day but also an amazing day for all of us. Daddy, you are the best......
